Go Jermaine!
I hope he gets away from the sport without getting too hurt. He is too good of a guy to have ill effects on his brain.
I always thought he had a future in sportscasting. He speaks great and really knows boxing.
Margarito
Margarito is my pick.
Antonio gets hit at least double of what Shane takes over his career.
Yeah, Shane has not been down as much as Margarito, but he also has been hit a lot less over his career.
nope
I think there isn't much more of a safer bet than JMM win on 4/9 this year.
I can't believe we are going to be scammed into watching this. I won't miss it though.
Sugar Ray
I have to go with Sugar Ray. Not because I think his skill is necessarily THAT much better than Mayweather's.
Instead it's because Mayweather isn't busy enough.
Plus, Sugar Ray's pitter patter flurries make the crowds go wild. The judges are idiots. Remember, even DLH lost only by a SD!
No question Sugar Ray in a close UD.
I feel like a lemming.
I also won't miss Manny v Shane and I won't miss Cotto v Mayorga.
Call me a sucker... but even if it's a beating, I'm excited to watch it. If all the fights needed to be 50/50 we wouldn't have many fights to watch.
like in Manny and Floyd's case...
I wonder
I wonder what Nacho was thinking leading up to that fight. I seriously doubt that DLH looked good against his sparring partners.
Judging from his performance and the fact that he made weight so quickly, I bet even his sparring partners should have seen a difference. I would hope that Nacho could at least see that DLH was too slow.
when did you watched your first boxing match, last week? dang! this belongs to the thread "the stupidest thing you heard..."
and why so concern if pacquiao will be knocked out have you not heard of a champion who lost or knocked out? of course anything can happen, thats the beauty of any contact sports. pacquiao is not superman, he can be defeated/lost in any manner.
??
I asked a simply question. What if Shane knocks out Manny? I didn't say the probability was a large one.
I just realize that if it DID happen the boxing world would be turned on it's head. You said it yourself, anything can happen.
still think
Still think that Berto/JMM deserved a shot more than any of the Junior Welterweights.
Remember, Bradley will have to go up to 147 to fight Manny. He's already small for his division. I think Manny's power would just be too much.
Still your point is accurate, the winner of the Alexander/Bradley fight should be in the top 3 for another Manny payday after the joke on May 7th.
