What is this guy doing with his career this is a bad move for Degale, Mick Hennessy is a poor promoter people can say what they want about Frank but he will get big fights, in Britain he is the best in the business.
Degale is getting far to ****y again he will turn fans off to him especially fans that were just coming around after his arrogance from when he won the gold medal. He would be lucky to win a round against Ward
You are right Diggles.
Eubank's footwork is a real weakness and as somebody who already loads up far too much it really compromises his offense.
I'd happily pay to see GGG rearrange Eubank's facial features and remove that stupid pout he affects.
If Jr wins on Sat this fight might be close to being a reality I really hope they dont throw him in with Golovkin it'll ruin the boys career.
Am I the only David Haye fan on here?
No I'm a fan of his ability but he's everything that's wrong with boxing even when he was fit he would fight less than Ghandi never mind when he's carrying injury's realistically if he was to have 2 fights before a world title fight with Wilder that would be us into 2017
you cannot see he turned it down, this fight was made fairly quickly so all the had to do was sign to fight not a blasted rematch, in case smith gets knocked in a round and so can come back and get a dodgy decison. He is an old man beat up for the glory not the money Smith must be pissed they should not have put a rematch clause
Mosley should have signed for the rematch he should have been grateful of the opportunity and could've made a few bucks in the process where else is he going to get a world title fight.... ridiculous
50-50 down the line.If both sides believe they'll win then they shouldn't really have a problem with it.
What are you talking about Frampton is the bigger name and holds the only legitimate belt he diserves at least a 60/40 split
boxing does not live on knockouts alone..sweet science is wat floyd's fans like..the love his ability to be the one and only that can do the things he does..If u make him and any opponent the same size he beats them..PERIOD..his skill set in boxing is matched by non..no ali no sugar, no nobody.
That's a ridiculous statement to come out with, he's a great boxer but to come out with that shows how little of the past greats you have actually watched.
He should just eat humble pie and go back to booth, he punched Froch from pillar to post in the first fight which you can only give Booth credit for as he got him up to that level. He's looked terrible since then even before the KO in the second fight he looked poor so I don't think the KO has affected him as much as people say, I think its been downhill ever since Paddy took over.
DeGale beats that azz badly. Dirrell is finished.
This is by far Degale's hardest fight I dont think the same can be said about Dirrell. I think Dirrell wins this in a relatively easy but boring UD
stop building up this fool as some feared monster. ..both Lara and Andre Dirrell called him out, any of those fights will be bigger than Monroe Jr.
and how can cotto be a coward after all the wars hes been through smh. golovkin is 32 years old and his biggest win is murray! ..gtfoh with this boogeyman crap
He is avoiding the fight GGG has called him out several times Cotto is one of my favorite fighters but he's ducking GGG and I dont blame him.
Lara and Dirrell LMAO your deluded.
Brook's win over Shawn Porter is more impressive than anything Khan has done at Welterweight.
Khan beat Alexander easily but Porter beat Alexander before that fight.
Maidana would knock porter out so I disagree
I'm a fan of Ward and I don't have a problem with him moving up to 175, or catchweight with Kovalev.
GGG was the one saying he was the best from 154-168. Well he needs to back those types of claims up. Period.
Ward supporters like myself want to see Ward take on/out GGG and Kovalev.
Ward is "good money". He's eerily similar to Floyd Mayweather in that way.
GGG always comes across very humble when did he say that he was the best from 154-168??? Please send the link to the article or the video.
I know you wont, coz it was never said pathetic
'A lot of people didn't complain about how boring it was' - yes they did, it was dreadful.
'It was like he was in awe or scared' - no-one's been awestruck by you as a pro, trust me
On another note, Funtime is the most bizarre nickname ever. Gavin looks like a fighter in a constant mood. You barely ever see him crack a grin and he's dull as ditchwater in interviews.
It was an awful fight I thought he lost dont have the time or patience to watch it again though.
True he needs to get a new nickname he looks like a grumpy B@st@rd
Groves is mildly deluded, but quite funny...
Ironically Eddie Hearn probably made a lot more money 'selling programs at the darts' than Groves has getting punched in the face.
At least Groves has made his money of his own back Eddie Hearn has had everything given to him, in saying that hes done an ok job so far.
Why not meet at 154? ;)
Floyd's fought at 154 before and Golovkin has had over a pound to spare in his last couple of fights at 160 so should be able to make it no problem, Mayweather would never take that fight though far to dangerous and for once I don't blame him he would get murdered.
Here we go again, as soon as froch is left out the limelight he always pipes up with something to try and get his name out there again, the GGG fight was a publicity stunt he had no intention in taking that fight just like he has no intention of fighting ever again.
Here's food for thought, Murray got beat by Sergio (arguably could have been a draw or even SD for Murray) but wasn't a good showing none-the-less. I believe if GGG fought Cotto it would be an easy night for the G man and we ALL KNOW what happened to Serg in his Cotto fight, Murray going down and going down hard this Saturday...
Your logic doesn't make any sense, boxing doesn't work like that styles make fights and I think everybody who watched the Martinez fight would agree Murray won it. This is Golovkins hardest fight to date Murray can possibly last the 12 round but will look like he's been hit by a train at the end of it.
What does that make you Khan? :lol1: This guy literally doesn't think before he speaks.
You fought Algieri in your last fight! You fought Devon Alexander before that. You fought Julio Diaz. You fought Carlos Molina.
Rios has fought just as much at welter as Khan has.
It was actually Algieri Alexander Collazo Diaz, Brook does need to test himself again Porter was a good win but he has to fight at that level again and Rios isnt
Too many people are counting Khan out, I think Khan gives Brook serious issue with his speed should be a close fight but I think Khan wins Brook has beaten 1 good fighter who was perhaps over hyped Khan has been at this level for years now.
Froch will never lace them up again he will keep putting it subtle hint that he might but there is no chance he fights again by the time groves and Degale fight it'll be at least another year from when he last fought. And he didnt fancy the GGG fight to start with what makes anybody think he would want it in the future. He massively overachieved and he knows it he's not stupid he is retired for good.
Roach just stfu and train Manny. Hoping someone has slowed has been a major factor in his opponent selection. Since moving past 140 most his big wins are over guys coming off tough fights or losses... Rios, Mosley, odlh, cotto, jmm were all coming off losses, tough fights, and unimpressive wins
I hope he know Manny has slowed down....all those leg cramp problems after going 12 rounds.
News flash Freddie Manny isn't the same guy he was 3 years ago after that ko loss and since 09 when talks started
Cotto just beat Clottey, Mosley had a draw with Mora, ODLH beat Forbes and Marquez has never came off a loss before facing Pacquiao it was actually Pacquiao that was coming off a loss the last time he fought Marquez.
Remember the days when Joe Calzaghe was cherry picking a shot Hopkins?
Now, 8 years later, Froch is ducking Hopkins :lol1:
Froch should just retire he is no longer the warrior that he claimed to be, Chavez is fat weed smoking bum, hopkins schools Froch and GGG stops him he must be in the top 5 richest british boxers of all time so the money talk is just excuses. Fight the best or retire simple.
Hopefully Ward goes ahead and beats Kovlev, and neither Canelo or Cotto give GGG a fight. The whole of 168 are Haymon guys besides Ward, and GGG won't even have the ward fight to look forward to. He'll be stuck at the wasteland that is 160, fighting the bums and guys who aren't ready to contend for belts.
Why would you want to see the most exciting fighter in boxing in limbo, your just a hater its pathetic.
I thought it was widely accepted the top dog is at cruiser is Huck?[/Q
I don't think Bellew wants any part of Huck that would end up a war with Bellew getting flattened he has a better chance of lasting with Hernandez he'll still lose a lopsided decision
