Tony Bellew once again dismissed the story that he was involved in a fight with a fellow actor on set.
The cruiserweight challenger has just returned home after more than two months working out in Philadelphia, making his acting debut in Creed - a spin-off of the Rocky series.
Bellew was supposed to have been held in a headlock by director Sylvester Stallone, following a fall-out with a fellow actor.
The 32-year-old admits words were exchanged earlier this month but denied the suggestion that he and the other actor had to be pulled apart.
"There was none," Bellow told Sky Sports.
"It was just a crazy story created basically from nothing, thats the best way I can describe it. It might have been a publicity stunt, I don't know, but don't believe everything you read!
"It was something out of nothing. A few words were spoken and that was that. There was nothing really to write home about. And that's it.
"If Sylvester Stallone had got me in a headlock, I'd probably still be in it!"
Bellew has become friends with actor Michael B Jordan (who plays Apollo Creed's son) and director Ryan Coogler and is hopeful both will be ringside when he gets back into the ring.
The Liverpudlian has not boxed since out-pointing his bitter rival Nathan Cleverly in November and, now he is back in the United Kingdom, has already set a target of fighting at "the very end of May or the first two weeks in June" - and wants two fights this year.
And even though, havnig won his last outing, Bellew was expected to come mandatory challenger to the WBO cruiserweight champion Marco Huck, he is now targetting another world champion, Wayne Braithwaite.
"I don't need a warm-up," he said. "I will get in there with the best cruiserweights in the world.
"All the champions are good but I think Yoan Pablo Hernandez is the best. I haven't seen a cruiserweight even come close to beating him since Wayne Braithwaite knocked him out (March 2008)."
