How about Ward dominating Kessler from the very first round and beating him to the punch...is that cheating too?
you're not taking into account Kessler's pressure and what happened when Kessler tried to throw on the inside. Every single time Kessler came forward Ward would tie up, and then hit and the ref would do absolutely nothing to admonish him.
I actually predicted a Ward victory but he definitely was fighting dirty on the inside, that obviously factored in to the outcome of the fight.
Kessler will come back strong in the Froch and Taylor fights so he's still got hope.
I don't recall seeing Ward "intentional" headbutt Kessler.
What i did see him do was confuse Kessler with his mixed attack, either fighting on the backfoot boxing or coming forward with quick bursts.
His in fighting also threw Kessler off, Kessler doesn't like it when its on the inside.
did you see that butt in the tenth round? That looked very intentional.
ummmm yeah there's debating, Ward held, butted, and fought an all around dirty fight.
AA is still the favorite and I think in Europe or MGM grand with a fair ref, Kessler would whoop Ward.
Fight of the Year..... - Marquez vs Diaz
Fighter of the Year.. - Pac
KO of the Year........ - Pac vs Hatton
Round of the Year.... - Pac-Cotto round 4
Upset of the Year.... - Salgado over Linares
Snoozer of the Year. - Mayweather-Marquez
I had Martinez winning but I still think Williams is a great fighter. He has problems with precise southpaws. I think he would beat Pavlik and I'm pretty sure Martinez would give Pavlik a hard fight too.
In no particular order:
Williams vs. Martinez
Perez vs. Agbeko
Marquez vs. Diaz
Berto vs. Collazo
Dunne vs. Cordoba
Erdei vs. Fragomeni
Ortiz vs. Maidana
---------------------
Personally, I have Marquez vs. Diaz winning this award...fell free to give your comments and selection... :boxing:
I didn't see that fight, was it really that good?
Naz and Duran should plan a date to go out to a chinese buffet
that sig gif of margarito is hilarious, especially because right below it you have a pic of Trinidad, another plaster user.
If Pacquiao wins decisively he's top ten all time and Mayweather's top 50. If Mayweather wins decisively he's top fifteen-twenty all time and Pacquiao's still top thirty. I think both men can do themselves a lot of good winning this fight and if Manny wins I think that's the last fight of his career.
