Love the 2 knockdowns in the second round and how Santiago smiles at Luevano acknowledging that Luevano got him back. What's truly amazing is how much of a fighter Luevano DOESNT look like. It's because of his technique and ring smarts that he's able to overcome bigger and more powerful punchers like Turdsack.
It's going to be interesting to see how he deals with Lopez.
Oh, well We have to agree to disagree, lol!!!!!
Well, tehres a reason why Luevano dont want non from Santiago again!!
Santiago should be able to clearly win the rematch, Santiago to me is more talented then Juanma, not better but more talented. His hand speed, combination punching...overall the dude is that good. When you watch Santiago Vs. Luevano, Satiago was throwing way too many punches and running his stamina way too early. I'm sure he won't do that in a possible rematch. We'll agree to disagree. I'm waiting for Elio Rojas to get in the mix somewhere.
Watched 7 and 12 and I still have both as even rounds :lol1:
I really tried to side with either man winning it over the other and I couldn't. Emanuel Steward also had the 12th round even.
Ok Let me know, what you think!!
hey, ill et you my 25K to your 50K I got Martinez and 25K straight I got Khan!!!!
Deal, sig it. Gonna watch rounds 7 and 12 right now.
The round you talking about is the nineth round.
Luevano won 1,2,3,4 (you could make the case for a draw round or Santiago won the round in round 2) and round 9, thats it,
Santiago won 5,6,7,8,10,11,12 and hurt Luevvano in pretty much all those rounds!!!!
You're right, that was the 9th round. Santiago gave that round away, he shouldn't have done that. 7 and 12...I'm gonna rewatch in a few minutes from now, I have that fight on my external.
I'll take Khan straight up. You giving odds on Williams?
Give me 2 to 1 and you gotta bet.
2-1 Odds on Paul, my 200K to your 100K?
No Odds on Khan vs. Salita, 100K straight up.
Nah, that was a close fight. People overstate that shit.
Hey, bet me on the Minto/Arreola fight.
I'll give you 3 to1 odds on Minto. I'll take Cris.
100k?
I'm looking to bet on Khan vs. Salita and Martinez vs. Paul. I have both Paul and Salita, down for any of those?
WTF? Santiago clearly landed the more, punches, and the cleaner effective shots in those rounds. thats the only thing you need to know!!
After round 5 Luevano was getting hurt in pretty much every round!!
Mario got robbed no dout!! I mean the judge who gave it to Luevano had it 117-111. WTF that guy was watching?
Yes, I agree that Luevano got hurt a couple of times and that scorecard was way off. But Luevano was the more accurate puncher. There was a round that Santiago gave up on purpose, so that he could rally in the next round; which he did. That had to have been the 7th round I believe, can't remember too well. But you do know what I'm talking about, correct?
I saw the fight and I thought santiago edged luevano but a draw was ok also.
It has been a while since then but IMO luevano has not faced as skilled as an opponent as juanma.. I expect a good fight non theless, luevano is experienced.
7 and 12 where clear mario rounds!!!!!
Everytime I score a fight, I make sure to rewatch the very very close rounds. In rounds 7 and 12, I put rewatch next to them and I still couldn't pick out who won those rounds. No way can you say "clear" 7 and 12 rounds for either man.

I cant believe this guy lost to Martin Honorio.
Luevano is not on Lopez's level imo.
Great fight.
But Mario got robbed.
That wasn't even a robbery, it was actually a draw in my opinion. Mario threw more, Luevano was more accurate. Santiago's problem was that he was too active early on, he didn't have to run his stamina like that.
