You can’t just on a cross section like that. Would you have said that the day after he was KO’d by Marquez at 33 (it even the third fight)? After the Mayweather fight? After the Jeff Horn fight? Some fighters have bad days. Not to say Golovkin is still in his prime, but I don’t think that’s a fair comparison.
I thought he looked old as dirt against domesticated and declawed Matthysse who only showed up to grab one last check before riding off into the sunset.
My gut hurts from laughing at this gem.
lol, they owned the 2016 election didn't they? Didn't you see the Mueller testimony today? Russia is deep in it since 2014 and they are gonna be there for 2020.
You're right, but that's kind of my point. It shouldn't be surprising that Russia is trying to undermine American elections (the US does that everywhere else). It's surprising that Americans are so gullible and idiotic to fall for it.
I think Chris Mannix is right. One of these days, someone is going to die and the opponent is going to test positive for steroids, and boxing will never be looked at the same.
Sure. I don't think this kind of handicapping is necessarily any worse than catchweights -- not that I'm a fighter myself though. But come on, Spence has to be the considerable favourite regardless.
I lured your Pinoy axx out of the closet now didn't I boy. Now go to Jollybee & treat yourself to a hamburger! On me.
Lord knows you have grown up without proper nutrition, lack of protein in your diet, during your formative years.
Let it go!!
...This is what happens when relatives inbreed.
this fight marked the beginning of Manny .....
c) saying and Being "afraid" of needles, being weakened by drug testing and avoiding drug testing for fights ....Team Morales made it clear how hard it was for him to make 130 and refused the legend a fight at a higher weight
Don't forget after this fight, Pacquiao still went life and death for his second fight with Marquez, as well as a pretty mediocre second fight with Barrera. If anything, it demonstrates that the featherweights (Marquez, Barrera, Morales) were competitive in a way that the bigger welterweights (De La Hoya, Hatton, Cotto) were not.
Mayweather has the moral integrity of a turd IMO, but he's likeable almost like George W. Bush was likeable. He always makes me laugh.
My favourite part: "chicken and meat causes cancer". They also hilariously cut off a number of old ladies from speaking. Don't really like the Watson family much after watching this.
Even if he pitched a clear shut-out, I do not believe Golovkin could win a decision against Brook in the UK. Don't mean to offend anybody with this, but I have zero faith in British boxing judges when a favoured son is involved.
looks like verdejo will be ring side, if so top rank is behind verdejo 100% nice cause i swear he gonna be one of the top stars in boxing.
Verdejo definitely looks like the next best thing. I just hope that once the Top Rank matchmaking-prospect rug gets pulled out from under him, he can prove his chin.
Did anyone else get a kick out of this? This is beginning to remind me of the Rumble in the Jungle.
