We all know Marquez beat Pacquiao all four times, but which was his most impressive win? I'd rank them this way from bottom to top. 4TH - Fight two, which I scored a narrow points win for Marquez. 3rd. Fight one. Marquez came back from being knocked down 3 times in the first round to win almost every round after. It was an amazing win, but since he was floored 3 times, I'M keeping this his 3rd most convincing win.
2nd. Fight 4. The best fight of the lot, a knockdown a piece traded and a toe to toe war, Marquez landed the punch of his career to beat Pacquiao for the first time officially and the fourth time in reality. 1st. Fight 3, Marquez schooled Pac, as much as Mayweather did, it was a beat down, 118-110. In the UK, Amir Khan (King Khan at the time P4P top 5) was co-commentator and he scored almost every round for Marquez, the consensus from pro's and fans was that Pac, maybe won 1,2 or 3 rounds. It was comically scored in the favour of Pac.
Marquez 4 Pacquiao 0
Top 7 Mexican boxers of all time.
1 Canelo (GMOAT)
2 Ruiz Jr
3 Morales
4 Marquez
5 Pacquaio
6 Barrera
7 Julio Cesar Chavez
Pacquiao vs Marquez was just one of those many trilogies/rivalries of Manny. This kind of rivalry alone will put most of the fighters in shelf, totally old, slowed, tired and worn out. Let alone a couple more rivalries. Pacquiao has the most Rivalries in the history of boxing I think. This guy should be all worn-out now for Pete's sake.
How is he still competing at an elite level at this stage is mind-boggling, this guy is not only too old in fighting age, but also for his attacking fighting style, he is the smallest welterweight of them all,--he came from 105 lbs, and because he is so small and short, he has to hop in and out just to get his punches in, and every time he does that, he puts himself in a seriously huge risk.
I think if this is not Manny Pacquiao fighting at this stage, there could be a case of suicide intervention of some sort. This thing should not be happening it's an abomination.
4 was the most action packed.
The 2nd fight is one of my favourite fights of all time. 2 top 5 p4p fighters in their physical primes giving their best effort to win.
My thoughts exactly. II was the one of the great fights in modern history and IV was the definitive and fitting ending to an epic rivalry.
I had it 2-2.
Manny 1/3
JMM 2/4
1st fight was the closest to me cuz of the 3 knockdowns.
2nd Marquez out boxed him.
3rd Marquez CLEARLY won that fight (you better go watch that again).
4th K.O.
The 1st fight was impressive how he got knocked down 3 times in the 1st (I thought it was over by then) & he came back to win the fight.
4th was icing on the cake with the knock down then the K.O.
Marquez DID win all 4 fights, I've been saying that too for years.
I had it 2-2.
Manny 1/3
JMM 2/4
Marquez-Pacquiao IV

I showed up to the first mid first round. “Marquez has been down twice already!!!”
The last fight was the best. Manny tried to go home, got caught with the Tecate Counter.
Why is Pacquiao on your list of the Top 7 Mexican boxers of all time? And how on earth do you have JCC 7th?
That part was just trolling. But the rest of it is serious. Marquez won all 4.
