a fight?
I mean do they get up for maximum energy 4 hours before a match to be in peak energy or are they awake from the morning for a late night fight?
I'm curious if anyone knows from past boxers?
The British fighters all have crumpets and tea before a fight.
no joke i think caffeine wouldn't be a bad idea, you peak on it for about an hour, it suppresses fatigue as far as wakefulness but I'm not sure about as far as aeroboic
Probably wake up early, go for a run, then take their steroids and head back to bed. At least in Mexico I heard that's the plan :)
They first have to dress up as a hoe in suspenders and stalkings and then they have to also get on their knees and suck ODLH off, these are all important tips to becoming a Mexican superstar.
This sounds reasonable.
How would nerves and adrenaline factor in?
everyone reacts differently. when I was competing at the amateurs I had teammates, who were very nervous and stayed silent and wanted to be left alone before the fight. others have a need to be talkative. another guy always had to take a s hit shortly before he had to fight and then there are some dudes who could easily sleep before the fight.
pre fight nap would be in the afternoon if your match was that night. You go to bed the same time as usual, and wake up the same time as usual. Most fighters have this nap scheduled during camp too so not to **** with their rhythm.
I'd assume you'd wanna go to bed late. Wake up past noon. Maybe even more like 2 or 3 for a main event fightr.. I'd assume you'd be trying to get things lined up to that schedule within a couple weeks of the fight if not since the beginning of the camp. Wanna have your body used to peaking, feeling its strongest during the time you'd be fighting.
This sounds reasonable.
