Yep, he was more worried about not getting knocked out than fighting. This clottey i don't know who he was when i see other clottey fights. I'm not knocking pac but feel that many fighters get away from their gameplan against pac and that is stupid.
You are sooo wrong. Cotto is not shot. He got beat by a great fighter(pac) and a boxer that was caught cheating. He fights the best and never makes excuses. Is he the fighter of old? Nope but he has roughed up the 2 that beat him and not many fighters can say that.
cotto vs margs rematch was set up for after the mosley fight regardless if margs won that fight. the only reason this fight didnt happen was because either margs or someone on his team felt they needed an illegal advantage over a guy who was considered to be on the down side of his career. if cotto feared a rematch like many of you say why would he agree to one with the first fight so fresh in his mind?
Very good point. Cotto got beat up by Margarito and THEN agrees to rematch but Margs messed up rematch by doing something ILLEGAL. Low blows are part of the game, illegal wraps are not.
There has been rumors like this in every cotto fight and he still bring his A GAME. He got beat by pacquiao because pac was just too fast but pacquiao took alot from cotto. Cotto will be ok.

I do agree that cotto fought pacquiao with head down compared to cotto fighting with his head up like before the margarito fight. Also, manny won but he looked like he went through war and heard his ear drums were damaged. Still think that Pac could beat cotto but fight would be closer in points than 1st fight. Rather see cotto vs pac 2 than pac vs marquez or pac vs bruno.

Don't get me wrong I think Pacquiao is an ATG and he has shown it, just hope they don't make excuses if cotto shows he is on a different level(WELTERWEIGHT). You have to be blind if you don't think miguel has speed. Yes, he might not be as fast as pacquiao but you'll see cotto's speed on 11/14. There are divisions/weight classes for a reason and just feel pacquiao is making a big mistake. If i'm wrong i'll be 1st one to give props to pacquiao.
Punch might wobble cotto but it won't happen because cotto is not that careless. Hatton left himself wide open and cotto does not do that. I can see a flash knockdown but hard to believe that pacquiao has more power than mosley or clottey. I know some of you guys do....lol
