I don't agree with Floyd's comments but it's too bad Pac didn't take Frazier's (RIP) approach and shut the loudmouth up in the ring and there is no doubt that Ali's comments did more damage to Joe than Floyd's have done to Pac.
Floyd has said he's wanted to fight in England in the past but I doubt he's going to give up the home advantage in a fight I think Khan will cause some early problems for him but will lose eventually.
waste of time
there is only one challenge left for Khan at 140, and that's Bradley
if no Bradley, he should just move up
It's not an essential fight for Khan but I wouldn't call it a waste of time
A relentless puncher vs Khan is always compelling
Khan will likely move up though
Still would of lost.
Not doubting it . It just would have made the fight more interesting down the stretch instead of chisora gassing and Fury having an easy time
wtf?

Whoa. Cotto just said if Margarito isn't licensed in NY he wont fight. He says New York or nowhere. #wherewillthefightbe #boxinbg

Arum is freaking out. Just cut the call off & ordered @TooFred to end it. Whoa. Gets crazier every moment. #wherethehellwillthefightbe

Chumpion ducked Broner for a shot fighter in Katsidis. He didn't even look that good against Katsidis. Marquez looked way better even with the knockdown by Katsidis Marquez was winning by lopsided decision before he stopped Katsidis. Burns and Warren cherry picked Katsidis for this very reason.
Marquez , an ATG , future HOF boxer , looked better against Katsidis than Burns did ?
Shock ! Horror!
Well I don't know, one min he's staying to pick on smaller fighters, the next he's going to 147, then he's staying at 140. I don't know because he does nothing but change his mind & go back on his word.
Khan didn't mention going to 147 lbs after one more fight until after the Bradley fight fell through so I don't know where you're getting him going back on his word from .
Fair enough if you don't like the guy but I've seen you contradict yourself at times . You've said one minute that Khan Peterson is a 60/40 fight , then you say that Khan is a cherry picker and Lamont is a B- level fighter . You mention Lucas winning convincingly against Judah ( when in actuality it was a close fight and i gave it to Lucas) but you downgrade Khan's win as another cherry pick against a smaller fighter , which is what you'll probably say if he beats Lamont .
I don't recall saying it was 60/40 fight I'd say more an 80/20 in favour of Khan & based on the referees that ref Khans fights I'd say even though it's in Petersons hometown it's more like a 90/10.
Peterson isn't a very good boxer on the outside & he is the type of fighter who IS good in the pocket but will only get on the inside if you remain stationary & let him which Khan won't do as he possesses an amateur style.
Peterson is quite feather fisted though he does possess a half decent overhand right & unless Khans chin is even weaker than I originally thought he shouldn't have too many problems.
I won't make excuses for him beating Peterson, I fully expect him too & think it should be an easy nights work for him.
lol , you must have had a moment of clarity here and laid off the khan hate
Haha @ puff pastry chin.
Yh I think it's a 60/40 fight in Khans favour.
It is very interesting to me as Peterson is bigger & has a longer reach - we all know what happened last time A mere con fought someone like that ;)
So peterson isn't so bad and he isn't another small opponent for Khan :)
Like I said before , fair enough if you don't like Khan but at least be consistent in your arguments and making outalndish comments like Khan is the greatest cherry picker from our shores isn't really going to give much validity to your comments.
Im not sold on Matthysse yet . He has the power to ko Khan but doesn't fight with the same intensity as Maidana . I remember in The alexander fight ( the 9 th round i think) where he had come off two dominant rounds and then was outhustled . Alexander's footspeed isn't the best which is why Kotelnik and Lucas were able to land consistently . I think Khan can keep out of range of Lucas and win a UD with some awkward moments on the back foot .
Anyways , it's already well known that this is probably Khan's last fight at 140lbs so you'll probably say he's ducking Lucas anyway
Dont say whoever..i said it..he clearly wanted out of that fight once he started getting busted up
He had barker going with a shot before that . The 2nd one just helped him down . It was a good shot and he couldn't continue . He even tried to get up but couldn't . His senses failed him end of story. No controvery here.
whoever said Barker quit is a retard , he had everything to gain and nothing to lose in that . He performed far better than expected and exposed flaws in Sergio. This wasn't a P4P no 3 type performance.
Yep . They both get big paydays and decide to reduce interest in themselves ( and hence future paydays) by giving an unappealing performance which leaves a sour taste in the fans mouths .
Wait what?
This guy would have people believe that he gave up the millions made by those whose name he has taken in order to preach about his version of Islam. The truth is his boxing talents took him no further to the D-level of fighter he turned out to be as can be seen by his obvious brain damage and corrupted interpretation of Islam. Anthony Small is no Muhammad Ali - today, tomorrow or ever.
Agreed . He didn't have what it takes to get to the top and is fooling himself if he thinks otherwise . Too inconsistent and lazy .
3-3 even fight. . barker is landing clean shots, going tit for tat in exchanges. . . barker is landing jabs all DAY on sergio! barker outlanding him! OH ****!! barker GOING TIT FOR TAT!!
this for me too
The hit from before hurt Barker, the second one that was partially block just put him down.
TS might not understand this, so i'll put it to terms he will surely understand.
YOU DON'T KNOW SHIT ABOUT BOXING!
agree 100% can't beleive people are missing that first punch seconds prior that almost put barker down
watch the short right hand that almost has barker going . The 2nd shot was blocked but he was still feeling the effects of the first and went down . Lmao at people thinking a 26 -1 underdog would even do well enough make it out of the first 6 rounds against martinez just to throw the fight . smh
