Matthysse vs Khan presuming

Lucas is too dangerous, that fight would never happen.

Matthysse KO's Khan, Ortiz KO's Khan....if they fight again, Chino KO's Khan. Khan is a strong as his weakest link, his chin. As long as he fights light hitting opponents (Paulie, Peterson, Bradley) or shot ones (Judah, Shane, Morales) he will do OK, but that's it. Khan is just another loudmouth brit who needs to be put on the canvas.

id love for khan to rematch maidanna, fight matthysse, bradley and rios and 140lbs before moving up to 147lbs but we all know its all about money so can expect khan to move up to 147lbs IF he beats peterson straight away

That Khan gets past Peterson. That is the fight I have wanted for so long, my dream fight & the fight that will get Khan his respect from me. Matthysse called out the winner post fight & Morales, will Khan be man enough too take on the beast that is really 31-0 (27 K.O's) I don't think he will take that fight. And lets not go into the tiresome Maidana beat Matthysse as an amateur as it's pointless, even if true from either side they was no more than kids. IMO Matthysse is far more polished as a pro than Maidana. If Khan gets passed Peterson does he take this fight or snake off to 147 to fight Matthew Hatton or some other clown? The reason I ask is because well, Khans is so carefully managed it's unreal. The finest cherry picker to ever make it across the pond. Matthyse hasn't really done anything but go life and with with Judah, Once Maidana destroys and kos Alexander you will see how overrated he is on this forum. What has he done or who has he beat to deserve this hype Its not hyping Matthyse. Its a hatred for Khan. We get it. Its almost universally accepted that the only person Khan needs to fight at 140 is Bradley. Otherwise moving up to 147 and fighting the decent guys there makes more sense, considering he wants to fight Mayweather one day. Fighting Matthew Hatton would be awful though. no doubt about that. But even if he did beat Matthyse, you wouldn't respect Khan. You hate him unconditionally.

I don't recall saying it was 60/40 fight I'd say more an 80/20 in favour of Khan & based on the referees that ref Khans fights I'd say even though it's in Petersons hometown it's more like a 90/10. Peterson isn't a very good boxer on the outside & he is the type of fighter who IS good in the pocket but will only get on the inside if you remain stationary & let him which Khan won't do as he possesses an amateur style. Peterson is quite feather fisted though he does possess a half decent overhand right & unless Khans chin is even weaker than I originally thought he shouldn't have too many problems. I won't make excuses for him beating Peterson, I fully expect him too & think it should be an easy nights work for him. lol , you must have had a moment of clarity here and laid off the khan hate Haha @ puff pastry chin. Khan didn't mention going to 147 lbs after one more fight until after the Bradley fight fell through so I don't know where you're getting him going back on his word from . You mention Lucas winning convincingly against Judah ( when in actuality it was a close fight and i gave it to Lucas) but you downgrade Khan's win as another cherry pick against a smaller fighter , which is what you'll probably say if he beats Lamont . Im not sold on Matthysse yet . He has the power to ko Khan but doesn't fight with the same intensity as Maidana . I remember in The alexander fight ( the 9 th round i think) where he had come off two dominant rounds and then was outhustled . Alexander's footspeed isn't the best which is why Kotelnik and Lucas were able to land consistently . I think Khan can keep out of range of Lucas and win a UD with some awkward moments on the back foot . All I hear is Khan constantly talking smack. He is just a cashcow that talks & talks & only takes fights that are virtually no risk all in hope of a big money spinner vs Floyd who is lightyears ahead of Khan and always will be. He will duck Matthysse, he will duck a rematch with Maidana & he will duck Guzman & every other fighter that is a risk of destroying his plans of a big payday vs Floyd. He's had everything handed to him on a silver platter and quite frankly I believe if most B calibre fighters was given what he has, they'd be in the same position as him. Maidana gets trashed on more then anyone on here yet all he does is win. His only true loss is a close decision loss to Khan. So what if he isn't a pure boxer. He gets the job done. The best boxer is the guy who wins. I don't see that, I see it as the opposite but honestly it's not like I don't like the guy, I love his demeanor as a fighter, the fact that he's willing to walk through fire to get his in. Just that when it pertains to skills, he's not that skilled, he's slow and throws wide looping punches, if he were as good as he's made out to be right now, he wouldn't have struggled with Morales or Corley. In the bold, he clearly lost to Kotelnik regardless of what everyone else is saying. If I remember correctly, IF, think I had Kotelnik winning the first 6 or 7 rounds of that fight.

I give Maidana a lot of respect & that is because he's a warrior. Khan is lucky the referee saved him that night, if he was a real man, a warrior he would give Maidana the rematch he deserves but he won't because he's a fraud.

LOL he mullered them yeah? That's why both fights went the distance? I had Lucas beating Alexander by 1 point (the difference being the KD) and had him drawing with Judah. The first 6/7 rounds of that fight Judah was having it all his way. Remember there are 12 rounds to a fight not the final 3/4 I had him comfortably beating Alexander by at least 2-3 rounds, same against Judah. End of it all, you can't shine in every fight, Khans been dropped by super featherweights, knocked out & struggled against very limited opposition. You're all quick to dismiss Matthysse as an opponent it would seem but it's okay for Khan to fight Peterson? WTF has Peterson done apart from get a gift draw vs Ortiz

Matthysse is much more precise than Maidana and he puts his punches together a lot better. Just look at how he demolished Corley in comparison to Maidana. Though I find him to be better than Maidana all around, my only slight issue is that he tends to take rounds off. I'm not sure Khan and his team would be willing to make that, Matthysse CAN punch and he doesn't throw wide looping punches like Maidana, his punches comes straight and short. Nicely put!

He DESTROYED Corley who is normally very durable & is sending guys running for their lives. Nobody wants to fight him! Khan won't fight him because stylistically it's a nightmare & a very high risk. We all seen what Maidana did to him, now imagine a guy that is better conditioned, better handspeed & lateral movement, a bigger guy that can cut a ring off. Lucas, mark my words will leave A mere con, for dead.

I think Juan has outgrown that fight now. He should only stay at 140 for Bradley, Tips, or HMM. That's it. Other then that, he should go to WW to start preparing for Floyd
