I considered that before the fight.
The lead up, and all that trash talking was to make sure he could get the biggest pay out possible for this fight.. regardless of the outcome..
***** just wanted to get paid.
I've had broken pinky toes... after a week you can't feel it anymore.
I'm sure everyone on this forum who's ever broken their pinky toe knows this excuse is BS.
That's BS. I'm sure a lot of us here have had broken pinky toes.
It hurts for the first few days but after that you can hardly feel it. And it's not like it's the most functional of your toes.
His injury is 3 weeks old, he probably wouldn't even have felt it.
Hell, I broke my pinky finger a couple years ago, never went to the doctor, or had it set and that pain faded after about a week.
Princess is pathetic.
I generally believe most past fighters would lose to the current ones just because of the training, vitamins, and other training regimens. The sport has evolved a bit. And its hard to say if the fighters in the past had the same tools/resources the fighters do now adays they'd beat the current crop.
I believe this. Just like any other sport - records are being beaten all the time. Athletes can run faster, jump higher, have more endurance, etc than previous generations. We've made a lot of improvements and scientific breakthroughs in health and nutrition.
I realise that Ukraine and Russia are two different countries. I was just mentioning it because there was concern in another thread that Putin might have Vitali poisoned for his involvment. I guess the general consensus was that he was responsible for the poison that disfigured Yushchenko.
Unfortunately, it's true.
"When I learned what had happened in Ukraine, I stopped training for the fight and returned to Kiev as far as I understand that the real battle for democratic values is unfolding here - in Ukraine - and I cannot be an observer in this situation," said Klitschko.

Hypothetically, if Wlad fights the winner of the regular WBA belt and wins.. would he have 2 WBA belts?? Would they just make up another belt for someone else to win???
Has nobody here ever broken toes before? I currently have two broken on my right foot. It doesnt bother me in the least. I can still box, ride motocross, go for runs, rock climb, and whatever else, and dont even notice it until Im done (if ever.) Most active people have broken toes or fingers all the time. Big deal. Very few fighters are ever close to 100%.
I've broken my pinky toe before and it throbs for the first week (I wouldn't even call it pain), but 3 weeks down the line I couldn't feel it. Haye is full of BS.
"The release of Yulia Tymoshenko from custody could be the first step toward restoring stability in the country and the trust of the international community," Klitschko said at a press conference in Kyiv on August 9.
"If it's necessary to stand bail for this fragile woman, I am ready to do it," Klitschko cited his address to the head of state.
When asked when he intends to return to Austria to resume his interrupted preparations for his upcoming boxing match against Pole Tomasz Adamek, Klitschko said that if necessary, he would be able to continue these preparations in Ukraine.
