First Fight - Son of Judges
Rematch - Son of Referee
Just disgusting
People should boycott any Ward future fight if this cheater choose not to retire as the dirty coward he is.
60/40 seems fine for me, Crawford is not a draw and his string of last opponents were not PPV material. He has to put it up and get the smaller share but if he wins in the rematch he should be the A side. It's all about taking risks if he thinks he can beat Spence he should take it.
Froch was slow and not slick or quick as Canelo but had a good chin, decent power and throw a lot of volume in his fights. Froch was beat only by a very good boxer in Kessler and a great one and neither of them fights like Canelo or are similar in size. At this stage i would put my money on today's Canelo against 2010-12 Froch.
Tainted meat and it was almost nothing found. Dude beat GGG fair in the second fight. GGG won the first but you guys need to accept he lost the rematch.
Troll. GGG barely beat Sergei who is a decent fighter but not even close to Canelo's level. Yesterday fight was against a journeyman at best and his did what he had to do. Everyone looks good against weak opponent.
GGG is one of the best at 160 but he is fading while Canelo is in his prime.
Rocky Fielding was worse but there are levels and Callum just fought someone a great figther beyond his speed, skills and power. He only had height and reach.
he just waiting all night for that perfect hook counter that never comes, he dont throw enough and he just waiting while his opponent landing more and more and accumulating.
Exactly but it ain't happening at this level. Spence is no Granados or Rios.
In the top tier you need to box your way to win rounds and not go headhunting.
Spence looked done in the champioship rounds but Garcia was too lethargic to do something about it.
I may sound crazy but Pac that fought Thurman would take Spence out.
Danny lost to himself again as with Thurman and Porter. Dude start late and dont throw enough. He got power, chin and good counters but he wont outbox a superior boxer in Spence or Thurman.
A good fight would be against Kavaliauskas.
He's 32 i wouldnt be surprised if he gets a bela again. He lost only to top level and with his power and chin he's always dangerous but dude every time comes with his stupid father strategy to give the first rounds.
It wasnt only weight drain or the layoff because Danny did tag the body with some heavy shots but a fighter in his level shouldnt fade late in the rounds.
Not a blind or bought man.
Haney and his crew shouldnt even celebrate this gift by Arum and the judges. Dude was getting his a... kicked by a boxer past his prime and much smaller than him. Haney talked a lot but proved nothing in the ring.
Haney was holding as expected and throwing low blows at will but Loma was landing harder and if Haney was a man and not a coward this could had been a tko. How a 22yr bigger dude is afraid of standing and trading with a 35yr much smaller man with t-rex arms is beyond me. Loma got this and it was taken from him. Damm you Arum.
I don't get how Davis is a draw. His last fight was lame and he could barely beat a one footed almost retired boxer.
This list should only have Canelo, AJ and Pacquiao since the others can sell a ppv alone.
Boo boo is overrated and need to get his **** together asap and demand DAZN a decent opponent.
BJS might be the one or even Jacobs or Charlo but at this stage of his career he can't afford to fight cans over and over again because it might be comfortable for him but will not grant him retirement kind of money.
Good point.
Bellew fight is a also good example of his slow starting and how he begins to pick apart his opponents.
He doesn't go for the ko right away in any of his fights.
Im surprised how some people are dismissing him judging by his performance today.
The hype is real and he will probably be champ at no more than a year.
Destroy Povetkin/Parker/White?
Um.... would he outbox Parker/Whyte? Yes. Povetkin? Probably.
BUT... If Usyk starts as slow as he did today... he would get KTFO by any of those punches from a legit HW...
Ok... excluding Parker.
Parker would be a good fight...
Hunter would be a good fight for Usyk and I would take Hunter vs Usyk.
He fought great punchers in Huck and Gassiev and also Joe Joyce but i would like to see how his chin will hold with those fighters with the exception of Hunter that i have no doubts he would beat him again in hw.
I believe the biggest problem is that his power will not keep those big guys out of him and thats bad in this division.
Just wish it was a different opponent but you cant blame Usyk for this.
Dunno if he should fight for the WBO just yet, especiallly if its with Ruiz or Joshua.
He could use another tune up fight at HW with someone like Parker, Whyte, Chisora or Povetkin.
Canelo is picking exactly whom he should pick and with the perfect timing.
Kovalev is a monster with some of the best jab in the division but he is fading since Ward II and he cant take a good body attack and Canelo will deliver one.
As for Usyk we should wait...his fight with Joyce might be a better parameter of his future as a hw.
He wasnt slow today and at least for me the major problem was his power but that isnt a surprise.
Too easy to hit is just plain wrong.
He slip punches and make people miss with his odd angles and keep punching coming in and out.
You can say that he lacks ko power but skillwise no one in hw match his level.
Its good for a first time at hw and is a surprise to no one that Usyk is not a one punch fighter rather than a master technician of throwing punches of all angles and making his opponents miss.
Wilder would get embarassed if he didnt land his shot but 12 rounds is a long strech.
Wilder had zero improvement whatsoever but the power remains so he is always a threat.
Fury can do it again but to bad he carries almost nothing in his hands to gain Wilder respect for anything other than boxing skills.
Just wish someone with a beard like Tua or Ibeabuchi was around in their prime to take such a terrible boxer out.
Ruiz would be a good fight with his fast hands and inside game but for now our hope lies with Fury.
