They finally found a new angle on the slow mo replay on the very last shot before the senile tony weeks stopped the fight. Did you see it? It was literally completely below the belt not even border line. It was 100% low blow. What a disgrace
As a Kovalev fan, you saw what you wanted to see and believe what you wanted to believe.
All Pacquaio fans think that Juan Manuel Marquez was on drugs and Pacquaio had a badly injured should when he lost to Mayweather. Simply because they choose to believe these things or you choose to believe the low blow conspiracy don't make them true.
They were low blows brah. If ward knocked him spark out i wouldnt dispute anything. But when **** like this happens i have to say what i see.
I just watched the 8th round. I saw about 6 low blows min. by ward! And 2 very hard cheat ass blows to stop the fight honest. Very bad call by Ref!!!
I cant stand to see BS calls. This year has been pretty good and fair boxing year so far but I have to call BS when I see it I call it.
Ward you that upset you where worried about getting beat you had to cheat to win?
Thats not the Ward I know. Very disappointed with the ending. I have 1 Win on 1st fight for Kov. And 2nd should be a DQ or a NC. I bet if they fight it and if the powers that be dont BS Kov it could and might get changed to a N.C.
Yea they were low blows. As a kovalev fan i wasnt sure at first but the last replay showed it.
**** this fight lol.

Sky did not make much of an argument for low blows, they were more questioning why the ref stopped the fight rather than giving a 10 count.
Yeah, well i said in another post that the stoppage was worse than the low blows.
Well plenty of people did see the low blows. The Sky commentators did, so what makes Max Kellerman more correct than them?
Also, i don't think the ref can be counted in the "didn't see it" - the guy couldn't wait to stop the fight. Him stopping it without even given Kovalev a chance to continue was worse than him not seeing/ignoring the low blows.

Neither the ref, nor Max or RJJ saw a low blow. I think one of the punches might have been, but as I said, it doesn't account for the terrible shape Kovalev was in in round 8. He was getting outclassed, outhustled, outboxed, outpowerpunched, hell, Ward looked the harder puncher. Kovalev couldn't adapt at all.

At the end of the day, i was a neutral, i didn't care who won. I just wanted a good fight and bad officiating has ruined that.
It seems a lot of Ward fans just want to ignore the truth. If it was the other way around, they would be complaining.
where is this notion that kovalev was done and looking for a way out coming from? lol wart fans are delusional. he was hurt low before being hurt with that right hand, it was the low blows that created the oppening. this is disgusting
They were low blows.
Maybe Kovalev wouldn't have won but it wasn't like he was out on his feet or knocked out yet the referee jumped in and stopped it the first chance he got. It was was awful officiating on a few different levels.
I'm not moaning because Kovalev didn't win. I like both fighters. I'm complaining because the fans have been robbed of a clear ending and Kovalev was never even given a chance.

Haha boxing in the US has become the biggest joke, how can you even take this seriously anymore.
Lowblow after lowblow even earlier in the fight and when Sergey thought the ref would finally take a point away or at least interfere and give Ward a final warning the black brother suddenly stopped the fight in favor of Ward? Hahahaha. America America.. yep i know you voted Trump as your president, there is no limits now.
Kovalev wasn't winning the fight and looked completely outclassed by the 8th. His pace was off and he didn't connect **** by the 8th. Just how much longer do you think this fight would've gone? Also, how do low blows (that weren't low blows, as evidenced by the replays as well as acknowledged by the ref, Max and RJJ) make Sergey look beaten up?

I was fully prepared to give Ward credit, even after the first borderline shot and right hand that came after. Kovalev got stopped bending over from low blows waiting for the ref to do something.
I like Ward, I was read to give it to him, but that was BS.
If they fight again, someone will jump in the ring like WWF and hit Kovalev with a belt or chair.
What a circus.
