kills himself to make weight.
I noticed this in the Mikey Garcia fight where he was gassed in second half of the fight and his punches were losing sting.
It was noticeable today as well. Spence was gassed in second half of the fight tonight and his punches took of steam. He had to take rounds off.
Spence stamins is suspect!
Boxing fans can be so thick sometimes. I'd argue that they're at times worse than casuals who understand performance after injury.
Most fighters take a tune up after being out for an extended period of time. In other supports, they're brought on as subs and/or play in the reserves to regain match fitness.
Spence took on a top fighter and dominated him. He's going to pace himself when getting ahead because he has to ensure that he has enough to go the full 12.
What's sad is that this fight did more to show he can still compete than knocking out some journeyman in the first round would. But if he knocked out some journey man, people would be screaming "He's back!"
Danny landed hard body shots, Spence had to reset and recover, there's is nothing strange or telling about that. If anything he took the shots well, average fighters would fold.
Danny wasnt turning his back running and spitting out his mouth piece while his jaw was getting consistently rotated out there, but spence was playing there though....
Off eye its Danny who let Spence off the hook I question he got a bag to take it easy, he made the moves for counters and aint let them go, and took mustard off his right hand when tagging him at midrange......As seen in the last 20 secs where Garcia finally decide to moves hands and turned Spence into a bobble head, he could of did that shyt anytime that fight....I question Dannys motivations at time.....especially allowing th fight to be moved to spence home town, the boy may be in the game with no intent on winning but trying to stay close and get a checkThat's just typical Danny. That's just the way he fights. His inactivity has always been his undoing. His father even admitted it on the broadcast that his son needs to let his hands go more and that he was a natural counter puncher.
Mind you that this was the post car accident Erroll Spence with poor conditioning and timing and he still whooped that ass when he wasn't even 100 percent.
I say that was about 80 percent of the Errol Spence, that we are all accustomed to seeing and he defeated Danny even more decisively than Shawn Porter when he was at a hundred percent.
The boy spit his mouth piece out and turned his back running....u dont get points skating to the finish line on thin ice
:lol1: alright bro.
Sound analysis.

If you’d follow his career you know his stamina is one of his biggest strengths. He admitted tonight that he got tired most likely due to inactivity and recovering from the crash
Spence looked done in the champioship rounds but Garcia was too lethargic to do something about it.
I may sound crazy but Pac that fought Thurman would take Spence out.
because Spence dug badly to the body before that...
Yeah, but Garcia still got his asswhooped! If Erroll had a little more energy he could have forced a KO stoppage because Danny looked like he was ready to give up but Spence threw him a lifeline and let him off the hook by taking several rounds off due to a lack of conditioning. That was an asswhooping. Danny hadn't taken an asswhooping that bad since Lamont Peterson and Mauricio Herrera.

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, Spence looked bad the second half of the fight. Feet weren't completely under him. Punches were not hard enough to hurt any top 5 welterweight.
Garcia was breaking him down otl...aside from pbc ass kissing the last 5 rounds Garcia stayed at mid range and pretty much picked spence apart
Spence aint finish this fight like a champ Garcia was breaking him, and moving him with those body shotsYeah, but Garcia still got his asswhooped! I totally agree with you. I Just commented that in another thread. Spence was there to be hit and was really slow. I'm really surprised with all the pros he got from the TV crew but honestly, I think tonight he would not be Pacquiao, Porter Jr or let alone Crawford.
You got no clue what youre looking at, the pace was very solid and Danny is no bum, they fought for 36 minutes Errol won about 30 minutes of that and finished the 12 round swinging.
I do have a clue....luckily for spence he aint fight a hungry Garcia who moved his hands, he let Danny reallypick him apart midrange sitting pretty to a close fght......There is a reason spence aint call nobody out.....vs Thurman, Crawford and Manny he get his ass kicked period
Yeah, I have to admit that he did look kind of spent tonight or otherwise he would have stopped Danny Garcia. When Spence was letting his hands go he would sap all the life and fight out of Danny.
I thought Danny only won the rounds that Erroll took off due to a lack of activity and poor conditioning due to the fact that this was the first fight back from his near fatal car accident.

It wasnt only weight drain or the layoff because Danny did tag the body with some heavy shots but a fighter in his level shouldnt fade late in the rounds.
I thought the upset was very possible considering the outside factors.
So it has to be a positive, there’s no other way to look it.
I had it as a 50-50 based on that alone. You can never discount the impact of something so life changing.
The talk of buying a ranch and all that didn't help either.
He's gonna use up a lot more energy than Crawford will.
Crawford will figure him out by round 3, start timing him with big counters, and take over from there.
lol wtf. he's out for 15 months and was strong in 12th against a world class fighter.
nothing suspect at all
