George Foremann use to be one of listens sparing partners. I dont have the link but formann once admitted that listen could hit way harder than him and would knock him down all the time in sparring. Foremann looked up to and tried to replacate listens intimadating style in this career.
Tyson was also once asked if there was one man that he wouldnt want to fight who would it be. He said listen and dempsey.
Burt Sugar said the Sonny Listen was most likely the scarriest presence on not just the boxing scene, but on the entire sporting scene of all time.
Angalo Dundee said something simmiler to this also.

I turned them off, believe it or not. It wasn't that it wasn't action packe, or entertaining, it was mildly entertaining. But I didn't like either guy, and it really had no impact on the title scene, or shaking up the division, so I just opted to watch something else instead.

I honestly didn't care. I never liked either guy, and I hoped they'd beat each other so severely that they would never fight again and HBO could give me some decent "Boxing After Dark" cards to replace them.

clottey doesnt have the stamina to pressure all fight like tony did. he will try to pressure like the first 5 and then go into his defencive shell and cotto will take him apart. clottey has always had stamina issues and always goes into that shell...
