Haha this thread. Mayweather edged him largely because he won the first half of the fight cleanly, Castillio was comming on at the end but to little to late. What 8 rounds did JLC win in that fight because there is no way he won 8 rounds with the way he fought the first 6. Close fight but by no means is this anything close to a robery or anything that history needs to be rewritten for.

I watched the fight.. Even took a second viewing to see if the result was the same and i had Castillo winning it

I had this fight won by Mayweather by 2 points, i understand it was a close fight and could really go either way so i have no problems if some give it to Castillo. I just think lots of JLC punches were blocked and Mayweather gave the best combos...anyway, i cant understand why some say 'real boxing fans scored it to Castillo', i really dont know what you mean by that, if you dont see it was a close fight that really depends on how you score it, and that those point deductions have to count...well then its you that have your eyes closed
