Go head, delete my thread like you do threads I post that have nothing to do with this topic.
Well the epic "pure boxer" thread is still alive. :spankme:

Check m.i.c.'S awesome thread out. iT WON'T DISAPPOINT. :boxing:
I wrote that on purpose just to leave bait for a rat like you
What are you talking about?
I'm helping you out. I'm simply redirecting visitors to a thread that exemplifies your intelligence and overall boxing knowledge.
Why would you complain about that?
Did you get owned in that thread? :chairshot
Again check this thread for M.I.C.'s brillaint thread on pure boxers:

I'll say again, Pac has no jab, no defense, no inside fighting game, no "PED's", no experience vs pure boxers....heart and determination will only cause him to take a worse beating. Some say he wont slow down like Mosley, it doesn't matter, Floyd will beat him whether he slows down or not.
Check this thread for more on "Pure Boxers":

oh ok your right my fault
at the same time "Pure Boxers" are very rare in Boxing Today, sure it is some guys with SOME BOXING SKILLS but not many "PURE Boxers", also networks and Promoters seem to be going away from the PURE BOXERS and only focusing on promoting the guys with Power because they are more "exciting" to the Casual Boxing Fans
Thank you for seeing my point. that's exactly why this tread is popular. M.I.C. is unshaken in his definiton of "pure boxer" which contradicts with everyone else's. In a sense, that's admirable, sticking with your belief and protecting your thread. But, wrong is wrong and we can't help but point that out (often using very impolite language).
and yes, Pure boxers are very rare today. They tend to become more complete fighters either by need or the demand to be more exciting and draw more fans.
ALWAY HAVE AND ALWAYS WILL!
Showtimes Super Six is proving that, Sluggers and guys with Knockout power are exciting to watch but when they run into a guy with good Boxing Skills and can do a little bit of everything they usually get exposed, it is hard to Knockout something that is CONSTANTLY moving, then they get frustrated when they can't land Power Punches like Froch and Abraham did against Dirrell
I would take a Pure Boxer over a Slugger ANY DAY!
by the way Understand what a Pure Boxer is, Pure Boxers are guys that can do a little bit of everything, they are not one-dimensional they don't just depend on one like "Power", they give you a little bit of everything, Offensive, Defense, Head Movement, Footwork, can make adjustments during a fight, uses Jabs and Combos to break their opponent down, they don't have to just wait for that one punch to try and end the fight
clearly a lot of guys on this board don't understand the difference between a Pure Boxer and a Brawler or a Slugger, especially people who keep bringing up the Kiltchko's, the Klitchko's have BOXING SKILLS, they can either KO you or Vitali can stay outside and let you run into his Jab all night like he did against Chris Arreola, so yes it is guys with Power who also have Boxing Skills the Klitchko's have BOXING SKILLS and Power, Pacman has SOME boxing skills and Power, Frazier had Boxing Skills and Power, Ali had Boxing Skills and Power just to name a few, Lennox had Boxing Skills and Power just to name a few
You're clearly missing the definition of pure:
Pure
Separate from all heterogeneous or extraneous matter; free from mixture or combination; clean; mere; simple; unmixed; as, pure water; pure clay; pure air; pure compassion.
http://www.brainyquote.com/words/pu/pure208530.html
Mixing "pure" with "can do a little bit of everything" would be a contradiction.
This thread transformed from a discussion of Pure boxers into a thread of pure self pwnage

i mean, may 1st there is a HUGE fight; whenever that figh is mentioned, pac name is brought up.....that's ok because mosley is gonna stop all that talk when his hand is raised on may 1..
If that happens, then all we're going to talk about is Pac VS SSM :boxing:
Wait 'till you see LeBron on some skates.
You ain't seen nothing yet!
He just gonna have one skate, chilling.
He won't even have a stick,
he'll just smack the puck in with his dick.
Pow! Slapshot, bitch!

TS you better stop posting to minimize the further damage your posts may cause to yourself. You'll getting nothing but embarassment due to your nuthugging...Boxing is not all aboput Cotto. Please be kind to your self and stop posting.... I'm begging you .....
Wow. M.I.C. is a genius compared to this guy. :boxing:
there's alot of tripe in there......but he is right about Pac not reamtching opponents who give him close fights immediately.......
Surely you couldn't agree with Pacquiao rematching Singsurat.
Pac clearly outgrown the 122 b division at tha time and he lost his belt at the scales. He immediately moved to the 122 lbs division after that lost. Not many 112lbers jump to 122 immediately, a clear sign that Pac can no longer make 112.
And as far as I can remember, Nacho refused to rematch Pac after JMM-PAC1. They chose instead to fight Chris John in Indonesia where they lost a hometown decision.
I hope u use the same logic when accessing Pac vs Morals. Why not take immediate rematch w/Morales? Doesn't it make sense, that a warrior, i.e Floyd vs Castillo, Mosley vs.whoever he lost to, (especially one had ever excuse in the book why he lost) would want a rematch? Waiting until the Morales moved up in weight lost and then making him come back down, when he CLEARLY had outgrown the division, then even adding a weight penalty in, doesn't say much for Pac or his 2 wins over EM. Especially since EM was beating him for much of the second fight.
You're making it sound as if if it took decades for the rematch to occur. Pac-EM II took place less than a year after the first fight. Waiting until EM lost? Didn't Pac and Morales fought on the same card to set up the rematch? So you're saying Pac knew that EM wold lose to Raheem in advance?
Why would PAc fight EM at 135? EM was pac's first fight at 130 and the rematch was only his third at 130.
EM was beating him for much of the second fight/ I gave EM rounds, 1,3,4,5,6
and PAc was dominating in 2,7, 8, 9 10, with two KD in the tenth/ IF the fight went 12 PAc would win by a wide UD. But wait, he stopped EM which is a much more convincing win than a UD.
Very horrible....pure hate. That's what happens when you win Fighter of the Decade.
well, he did give pac credit for the first Barrera win. A prue hater would have found a way to discredit that win. But still an obvious hater.
when if he wanted to "challenge" himself, he could have refused DLH's offer to fight at 147 and fought above 150 or at 154 to prove a point...he didnt
what kind of idiot would refuse an offer to fight DLH? would floyd have refused if DLH wanted to fight hm at 147?
And PAc went up 12 lbs to 147 which is enough if you're looking for a challenge.
I enjoy watching both. I don't really see why there's an argument as to which sport is better except for promoters who want to sell more tickets. Both sports can co-exist IMO.
To be fair this thread is not as stupid as the epic "pure Boxer" Thread:
http://www.boxingscene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=389564
But still pretty retarded though
Not me. It may not beat FMJ-Mosley in PPV fights but people will watch it. Pac's an exciting fighter so a lot of people will watch him against almost any opponent.
Support seems like a strong word. I would say I'm a fan.
I appreciate Floyd's talent and skills. He is one of the best fighters I have seen in my lifetime.
But I like rooting for the underdog and Floyd's is always favored at this stage of his carreer. And his personality kinds of make me root for him to lose.
That said all I want is a Pac-FMJ fight in 2010.
But surely if he was fighting on for financial reasons, then he'd be jumping to fight whenever he can?
Fact is he's fought twice in the last two years and both of those were title rights.
There was the farcical situation in Ethiopia against blown-up ex-super middleweight De Retta which never happened, but apart from that he only seems interested in fighting for belts.
Exactly, fighting for belts is the quickest way to get money, with millions in purse money win or lose. If he fights young contenders then he will likely lose and lose the chance and credibility to challenge title holders. :boxing:
