I stated in the past Manny will have a decent run for the first few rounds with his in-out darting style and flurries. And he may get a few crowd pleasing shots on Floyd that will be exciting, and then the jig will be up. Unless.... Freddie and Manny are busy working on improving Manny's defense and tweaking his style somewhat. Then it'll be more interesting.

I threw the testing thing in for the heck of it just to fit in here on on this site. I think the testing thing is kind of a joke too. I dont disagree that the sport should have some precautionary measures in place, at least for the best of the best as the money is to good that i believe it should be a level field. However, for Mayweather to demand testing for Pac and possibly prevent the fight from going through does piss me off. There are a some things about the Zab fight. -Zab is a counter-puncher when he wants to be, which was when he was doing good. Problem is that Pacman isn't a counter puncher. -Zab was fighting a very tactical fight initially when he was doing good, trying to land the counter left upper cut to stop the straight right(something pacman won't even think of). -Zab was getting hit to the body a lot so he dropped his hands, which is why he started getting tagged to the head. -PBF figured out his distance, if you look at the footwork, he at times even steps on his foot. His body leaning in to smother a punch while landing the right to the body. He had a great pivot to square him up a bit. -PBF's counter shots were the reason Zab started falling into a defensive shell, a long with the fact that even though Zab is normally a fairly accurate puncher couldn't land. Zab was outright scared to throw. -PBF started timing Zab's speed, he would find him before he could get out. Zab is definitely faster than PBF as well, which really says something. He had a faster, stronger, and more powerful puncher than him in front of him and he dominated the guy. Zab is smarter and has more tools than Pacman, from a in the ring boxing stand point. Zab could also throw from several angles. I would even say Zab has more power punch for punch. Pacman has a 2-3 poor jab then straight right jump in combination, if he does that against PBF, PBF will duck it then move just like JMM getting tagged with a straight right left hook combo that Zab faced. After watching that fight over, I would say more and more Pacman gets butchered.

floyd is a defensive master and hes better at doing the shoulder roll more than anything else he does. the high guard wont work either for the reason that pacquiao throws punches from weird angles. let me ask you, who has the better high guard defense, clottey or mayweather? My brother just had his first amateur match last week, he learned some pointers on form in the gym and we practiced it for three weeks. He got in the ring, got excited, and started swinging haymakers. All the techniques we had practiced went out the window the minute he got hit and excited. I think if you saw him you would say he punches from weird angles. It's not like Pacquiao and Roach sit around and practice the lunging, half uppercut, almost hook, all arm weird ass stuff he does. Also, people always talk about his eight, nine, two thousand punch combos. When has this ever happened. Only to opponents that cover up and let him wail on them, or to fighters that try amateurishly to throw a bunch of punches with hime and end up getting caught as aforementioned due to his weird ass punching. Next tell me when has Mayweather ever been hit with a combination consisting of more than a few punches. You will say never, cause he's never fought a guy like Pacquiao, I say its because you throw a punch or two and hes out of range before you have a chance to try again. And he does this all night long, and I dont think Pacquiao will change that. Even with Marquez, who is much slower of foot it was usually jump in throw a punch or two, wait for Marquez to throw a punch or two, reset and try again. Where were all these combinations against the slower counter punching Marquez. And if Floyd realizes he doesn't have to fear Manny's power, which i dont believe he does, he may just walk him down. Either way I think he loses a semi-competitive fight perhaps. But dont pretend a weird angled punch is gonna save the day for the little high schooler cause i dont see it happening. Floyd is very flat-footed these days, Pacquiao will flurry the shit out of him. I don't think either guy wins easily, Floyd is too good at countering/defence, Manny is too strong/quick/powerful. It would take an insanely amazing performance for either to win dominantly.
