These haters are trying to discredit his win and say he is dirty, they need to study up on Bhop and reaize they are watching something very special not a doper.
BHOP met with Pac and Ariza in the Philippines to score some of that great A-side Meth. That's how Popkins keeps schoolin fools....
sergio is the only white fighter??
Terrible list, wheres froch, wlad etc.
How is hopkins above froch for example???
I don't give any of the super 6 guys props for any of their wins. I feel the tourney has been tainted and only the winner of the entire deal will get credit from me. Hopkins has been boxing since Froch was in middle school man...lol and beating guys half his age, "elite fighters".
I have Wlad in my top 10 and Adamek as well. If Froch wins the super 6, I'll push someone out and throw him in there but the entire SMW tourney stinks of corruption to me.
1. Pac
2. Sergio
3. Donaire
4. Hopkins
5. JMM
6. Bradley
7. Wlad
8. Segura
9. Wonjongkam
10. Adamek
***honorable mentions/runners up:
11. Vitali
12. Froch
13. Cotto
14. Steve Cunningham
no they won't.
are you guys pretending to be retarded?
the point of the thread is how shot roy is now, he'd probably lose to a guy half his size.
jesus f christ.
LOL...I know..thought the point of this thread was pretty transparent.
well, hopkins did refuse to be tested when his opponent requested.
i don't think both are cheating, but if you're gonna call one a cheater, then you should also call the other guy a cheater also.
otherwise, you are a hypocrite
Good call. There are really few comparisons between the 2 boxers tbo. Both atg's in their own right.
I always wondered why Gomez's career didn't do more. To me, he was one of the top ww's but he never got any coverage or hype. Like you said too, take away the Cotto loss and he is sitting at the top of the talent pool.
So Martinez ****s on Pacquiao's opponents like Mosley and then tries to do the same and even worse fighting Chavez Jr., beacuse of the exposure and money?
I'm telling you Martinez is a fvcking hypocrite.
Martinez whoops up on Chavez sure but at this juncture dude IS an undefeated belt holder with over 40 something wins and a big draw. Mosley had several losses, Chavez is in his 20's while Mosley is pushing 40. I do see some differences there
Dude turns into a heavybag after 3 rds and he does zilch after that. It is not hard to look good against a guy that does that......and he fights like he has never fought before coming in wild, wide, and sloppy. I don't get it, the same thing in the last 3 fights.
Dude is nearing the end of his career and he wants a huge payday, he has earned it and they are supposedly the "best" fighters in the world besides Martinez. They won't fight him though and like Malone said, he is too small to fight the bigger guys. I think Martinez said he'd go as low as 150 or something and Arum said 147 or 146...something along those lines. Martinez would have to kill himself to make that weight now and Arum knows it. Floyd....he just acts like he doesn't know who Martinez is.
sergio martinez s dominating eurobums and goat farmers when he's not calling out WWs and japanese fishermen. what a pvssy.
he wants WWs 2 fight him but no way in fvck will he go up n fight SMWs cuz he sucks.
Have I told you I love your sig pic lately?

While watching Arthur vs Ward, it was said that Arthur moved up weight to fight in the super six tourney(meaning he moved from 160 to 168), after dominating the middle weight division.
Now we got Maravilla dominating the junior/MW division. With his skills that he possesses, why can't he make the jump and put on a show? I do understand that it might or is his age and wants to get a hefty bag of dollars, but I think he can actually compete at SMW.
Again, just asking, what's the difference?
Notice also how AA went from over 30 wins and undefeated at MW to 3 losses in his last 4 fights at SMW? Martinez would fair better as he does not transform into a non-existent heavybag replacement.
And that's why I say that with his skills he can compete. He has movement, has jab, nice footwork. I think he can do pretty good.
I agree, once this tourney is over with, maybe he will have to move up as a last resort. He will be very small in comparison to most of the SMW guys stature-wise. His athletic ability and skill level may allow him to compete though.
I agree. He was a good size MW but at SMW he is small and gets bullied around, a taste of his own medicine.
His career is virtually over, but if he wants he could go back to 160 and maybe do well again
I don't know why he is so adamant about staying at 168. He is getting worked over by these bigger guys....and if he would only try, he might be able to hang. Dude gives up like a toolbag instead.
He's a rough fighter but not flat out dirty imo as most seem to believe but thats a quality in its self i guess. I think he is a GREAT inside fighter and while does tie his man up i think Most of the time he lets his hands go and beats guys down at close range. I really thought after Kessler America would jump all over its Gold medal winning star fighter but no.......
If he would stick and move, I'd be a fan but he fights like is afraid to take a punch. He has the skills to be elusive and counter and outbox other guys but he chooses not to for some reason, I just don't get it.
lol 70% of the crowd cheering for AA. This is sad, stadium is half empty, half of it with Armenian fights. Remind me why Andre Ward demands he fight at home? He got no fans, this couldve been a huge draw in Germany
lol Andre Ward getting BOOD
Easier to get Cali judges in Cali too :purity:
It'll be worse than the replay preceding it.
I agree. AA just hasn't opened up and attacked at SMW like he used to at MW, his short stature may have something to do with it though. Ward is going to "wrestle" his way to a UD with 95% of the fight being played out against the ropes and little to no exciting moments. If by some miracle, AA makes it a close fight, the most drama of the entire night is going to come when they read those cards and every rd goes to Ward........."The California Kid"...lol
AA is tiny next to Ward
Yeah he is...man, I just don't like Ward. I want him to lose so bad- all his hometown advantages, his ring tactics, and most of all his name: Son of God...whatever it is....man, Jesus is the son of GOD...that is blasphemy at it's finest....bad karma man, bad karma.
Sergio because he knows how to play to the crowd. Donaire is very exciting too but Sergio knows how to be a "star" and he is smooth and in control. Donaire comes off a little "green" to me but he is definitely one of my favorite boxers too.
