I watched the fight in black & white and Algieri won every round. Seriously try watching the fight in black & white and you'll see Algieri clearly dominated the action.
I watched the fight live and clearly felt Manny won.
Woke up today, watched the fight again in black and white, super slow-motion and on mute with the TV upside down and I'm not sure who really won any more.....
Do people really believe Floyd is a Global Superstar?
Take Floyd out of Las Vegas and No one outside of Hardcore Boxing Fans would know who the Fuck he is.
Floyd has about 5,000 Fans in the UK out of the Entire Population of 70 Million Plus - AND they all reside in South London.
If Mayweather fought in the UK he'd sell out the national stadium within a matter of hours regardless who he fights.
I'd be surprised if Guerrero lands a big fight. I think Khan mentioned he likes pricing himself out and considering he got paid a million to fight a nobody in Kamagai (who only got 75,000) I wonder how much he thinks a Khan or a Thurman fight's worth since he's clearly the A-side (in his own mind).
He said in the interview it's not about belts at this stage as it is about big fights so why go on about Brook getting a belt? A Brook fight would be much bigger than fighting the likes of Alexander or Guerrero. Unless he gets Manny, Floyd or JMM next I don't see why Khan just doesn't fight Brook.
This is from an interview with Shawn's dad from 2 weeks ago after the fight was apparently confirmed.
Porter's father and trainer Ken is hopeful that history doesn't repeat itself and that the fight comes to fruition.
"You know I am somewhat concerned about that. I just said to somebody the other day that I am concerned that this guy has had situations before and you go through a whole entire camp and he pulls out at the last minute and you can't get a replacement. That is a concern. We need to sign contracts so we can move forward but yes that is a concern," Porter revealed.
From this and a few other sources it looks like Brook has yet to sign and send off the contract even though the fight was agreed in principle so make what you want from it.
Brook has signed the contract
Do you know when he signed? From what I know there was a verbal agreement over the terms between Hearn and Porter's team for August 9th and Kel was supposed to sign the contract within 48 hours. After Porter's dad said he still hasn't signed. This is what Hearn said after the agreement:
'I have been quite vocal on Twitter in not announcing fights until contracts are signed. The process is simple – you agree terms and then you proceed to contract. That is where we are at in this moment. Those contracts will be executed within the next 24 or 48 hours.
I hope he's signed and there is no problems on his end. Just seems a bit weird that we've had no official confirmation since.
Brook signed last week and Hearn said they were waiting for it to be counter-signed.
He's been real quiet on his twitter about the fight maybe that's why. Wonder how this sh1t's gonna play out, Brook deserves his shot.
:ugh: What next Guerrero vs Marco Huck?
He is not a big welterweight by any means and you want him to fight a guy a brute who walks around near 180?
They want Thurman to step up and fight Lara so maybe they should take their own advice.
I wanna see Guerrero vs. Wlad I think it might be competitive for the first 10 seconds.
Beauty's in the eye of the beholder. I'd take Rau'shee Warren over both Loma and Chris anyday. How can you not like this face?
