Why are people comparing this to lennox-tyson... Tyson was completely shot for that fight...
Floyd/manny was a battle between two top p4p guys.... Tyson/spinks is a more comparable fight in terms of hypeYoung casual fans. We got
Ali - Frazier
Tyson - Spinks
, however different fights, amazing events that you talked about months later.
And then we got
Mayweather - Pacquiao
complete borefest, that you'll forget as as soon as it ended.
He lost to chisora. Didn't get his butt kicked, but he lost.
Not a huge shame, as Chisora is quite good, and tough for anyone. But Helenius isn't that good, as was obvious from that fight. Ever since that fight he went quiet since he realised what he is capable of.Again, wasn't that the fight Helenius got injured? Why you're using such fight as the definitive indication?
I don't remember any injury or seeing him fight compromised in any way. Was punching with both hands. Sounds like your typical post fight deception. If it really was just an injury, we would've seen him back in the ring koing ppl, he woulda rematched Chisora and beat him. But nope.
Using that fight because its his best opponent, first real challenge and he wasn't strong enough or have enough stamina to hang.
Helenius looks great against bums and cab drivers, but the reason we don't hear from him or about him is because after the Chisora fight he knew he is not going to be a successful HW.Well if it was an actual hampering injury in the first round, would you change your mind?
I myself haven't seen any proof that he's not boxing because what you just said. I think you just want to believe things what suits you.
He had a complicated shoulderinjury before the fight and in retrospect should have told his promotor to cancel. Of course the injury then worsened during the fight and he hasn't really returned to good Health since.Oh ok, that makes sense.
He was injured for a while and now he's locked in some kind of promoter dispute. A big waste.Yeah I knew about the injury, but that was a looong ago, so is he healthy again?
Damn politics, what's the frigging problem of making money? It's still better to make money, even if the cut is unjust, than nobody making money?
Btw, he looks much fitter in that football vid than he did in the ring.
To be fair, no one told Boytsov to lose to Leapai...
As for Helenius, what happened to him sucks and I hope he can get his career back on track, but to be honest I'm not particularly interested in seeing him again. A fighter of his supposed level has no business losing to Chisora.Helenius officially won Chisora. As for performance, didn't he break his arm in the first round or something? For me that's perfectly acceptable to beat Chicora with one hand, even if narrowly.
Lmao Tyson didn't take McBride's as fights, he took them for money. Here the motivation wasn't money and he looked great, even protecting Roy's chin. I would pay top dollar to see Tyson in real fight again.
Helenius beat Chicora with one hand, can't see Chicora now being match for two handed Helenius, and Helenius will want to correct any delusions going about that fight. Although amateur coaching is hampering Helenius atm.

That's pretty good 62 second demolition. I think Helenius looks more defined than before.
Killer = Meathead
Businessman = BrainsDon't know about you, but when I watch boxing, I've expectation to watch killers, rather than money grabbing businessmen.

Tyson made "Mayweather's" of today look like bunch of ****, the sport took a massive hit because of the fight.
Roy actually looks to be the bigger of the two. He is certainly the fresher of the two given his last fight was two years ago. Roy might actually have to carry Mike through the second half of the fight.Tyson hardly ever was bigger of the two, well for Spinks he was and we know what happened there.
Best train wreck of a fight i can remember was Tyson Golata!Tyson made Golota quit fearing for his life. And he was correct to do so as: "it was later revealed he had a broken bone in his head, which could have pierced his brain, should the fight have continued." And he was out 3 years because of that fight.

Like I said Tyson made today's "Maywheather's" look like of bunch of pansies.
All roads lead to Tyson. Tyson is the A side, Tyson is the straw that stirs the drink. Tyson vs Golota or Toney should be next, until Holyfield humbles himself about his demands. There's more chance of universe disappearing than Golota to step ring against Tyson again. Last time he saved his life by bravely quitting.
