Green was holding some, but it was Ward falling into his chest after every punch he threw and smothering the shit out of Green.
Ward always comes barreling in head first and just pushes himself into the other guy.
He's the initiator. Almost seem like a mma fight
why would Floyd have fought Oscar again?
SD clearly stupid, Floyd won decisively
Oscar only chose Pac to avoid Tony
I think he is talking of the rematch that they were suppose to fight, but then Floyd decided to retire instead
WTF Floyd George W. Bush's higher end tax cuts (signed in 2001 and 2003) expire this year as a result of the sunset provisions insisted on by John McCain and others at the time.
President Obama has made it clear he has no plans to renew those tax cuts so Floyd should be fighting Twenty Ten.
That is what I was thinking. Just like the death tax, for the rich this is the year to die,
Yea bro, I know TBS stream wasn't working...I'm working on finding one...If I do, I would hit you up.
Thanks, same here.
DO you have the Keyhole TV program?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KeyHoleTV
Wished the Japanese government would allow the program to stream better quality
Yea bro, I have it but the quality always sucks...That would be my last option but is better than nothing. Hey I just went to the channel to check for later.
Guess what It is just starting El Mexicanito coming into the ring
It is Live, usually they have it tape delay
Daiki Kameda is the WBA Flyweight title holder, he is awkward out of the 3 I would say he is the less skilled. And, out of the 3 he is the least one I like. However, even though he is awkward it is effective. If you watch him fight he might not seem much but his style works for him.
Koki Kameda he was the WBC Flyweight title holder. But, he lost the belt to veteran Pongsaklek Wonjongkam. He has fast hands, he is good, he got skills. He is kind of flashy. He is fighting for the WBA regular bantamweight belt. After the Wonjongkam fight he skipped 2 divisions and will campaign at 118.
Tomoki Kameda is the youngest brother at 19. He is a prospect don't know much about his style. I just know he had very close close fight against another prospect in his last fight. They call him "El Mexicanito" because he has fought the majority of his 16 fights in Mexico. And, has ties with Saul Alvarez promotional company.
Also Alvarez trainer Eddy Reynoso has been in the corner of both Koki and Daiki the last few fights. NOt sure how much he trains them.
Super Arena, in Saitama, Japan.
And, maybe not sure yet. Give me a couple hours to see whats up. The nice streams I had for TBS no longer work.
The reliable streamers of Justin Tv got the channels banned, I am hoping one of them streams them.
Last option is Keyhole TV, but the quality is not good.
I didn't think it was going to start until a few hours. thanks bro got in time to see the 2nd round. Tomoki destroyed the dud yeah usually they are taped delayed.
I'll increase interest as soon as he admits his Berto-Ortiz scorecard was complete shit. He even left it out of his review of the fight. So I guess ESPN has no "official score".
people always get nationality&race mixed up..that dude race is white his nationality is Mexican...same way they have black Panamanians not all Panamanians look like roberto duran lol..they even have white Jamaicans, Jamaicans of Chinese descent,Jamaicans of indian descent..they all dont look like buju banton.
Roberto Duran is half Mexican
.... and one of "Canelos" brothers calls himself "The Spaniard" Many Mexicans/Latinos have nicknames like that, that are more based on appearance, like "Chino,Negro, etc"
Marquez has to be the bravest hombre to take on Pacquiao at 147lbs. That's who the man is, so let's see him try.
Marquez is more popular than Mosley. So if Mosley gets 5mill, Marquez should get 5-7mill. But to ask for a 50-50, which he did late last year, is down right ridiculous so Pacman had the right to say no.
147lbs. Great! Pacman might only weigh in around 144 to be honest with you. He needs more speed to beat Marquez. And Marquez needs to be around 140 or maybe 138 to be in good condition to fight Pacman. But Pacman is just too much for Marquez at this point in time. Pacman 7-10TKO, but don't count Marquez, he does have a superior condition just like the Pacman, plus he is durable. He wasn't even hurt against Mayweather. When he got knocked down by Mayweather, it was Marquez who fought back rather than Mayweather to go for the kill.
When did Marquez say he wanted 50-50?
He actually asked for something like this "So if Mosley gets 5mill, Marquez should get 5-7mill"
but then Arum called that figure pricing himself out.
And now that is what they offer him, that shows the pricing out talk from Arum was just an excuse.
I'm with Roach. Unless Margarito got leagues better in his time off, he'll retain the same old weaknesses. He throws looping punches and always move forward. Manny will follow Mosleys gameplan. Manny doesn't hit as hard as Shane, but he's fast. He won't back Tonio up, but he'll hit hard enough to keep Margarito honest. I don't see a knockout though.
Mosley game plan was to hit and hold, Manny does not hold
To go along with what Hyperion was saying, Montiel makes about 100k for those small time ppv shows, while bantamweights on showtime make around 300-500k. It's definitely a better choice in the long run to be apart of a tournament and even in one fight, Darchinyan will probably make more then Montiel would have.
Montiel would have been making good money in this tournament, much more then he could generate on his own. For Donaire his
representatives said it would be a pay cut. He has a guarantee of 250k from Arum, I guess that is why he left Shaw for Arum. that is also probably the reason he fights no-names since Arum has to pay him so much.
According to reliable industry sources, last Saturday's junior welterweight bout between Erik Morales and Marcos Maidana drew a huge rating in Mexico. Morales lost a twelve round majority decision to Maidana at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. It's being said that Morales-Maidana generated a ratings figure of 25 points, which is a little higher than the huge rating generated by Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's title winning effort over Matthew Hatton in March. Based on the high number, more than half the homes in Mexico were watching Morales go for a fourth world championship.

25 points would be 25% of homes, not half
around 30 million viewers
It's always been $25. I live in Cali and the L.A. Live theater in Downtown next to the Staples Center and Nokia Theatre was sold out for May-Mosley, so I'm guessing for big fights (either pac or may fights basically) theaters will do good. I was gonna do the theaters, but I'm gonna stick with the home PPV
I remember checking the Burbank for the Marquez/Mayweather and I don't remember it being $25. They have it for $15 at Alhambra..
Nice that they sold out, I was thinking it had not done well since I don't see LA Live listed for this one.
Maidana-Morales
Katsidis-Guerrero
Wright-Macklin
That's a great card, especially in these times... I got Katsidis in a war.
Hopefully Maidana doesn't train with Nacho. He's a great trainer, but not so much for already developed fighters. Developed fighters seem to become gun shy because they're trying to be too technical, when it's not in their style. Maidana should go to Barrera and Izzy Vazquez' trainer, I can't remember his name, but (googled it) it's Rudy Perez. guess what?
Mexican boxing reporter Salvador Rodriguez just posted a message on twitter that Rudy Perez will be the new trainer of Maidana.
Martinez is right for dropping the crooked WBC. He should try to capture the IBF title. As of late, they've been more credible, fair and honest than the other organizations. And you have to admire his courage for standing up to HBO. He should go over to showtime and fight the best in his division and put on some great performances while still makng it a point to cast aspersions on Jr. for being a fraud of a champion.
IBF ? They stripped Petterson for fighting Bradley and to give Judah the title fight, that is how Judah became champ again
And now Berto for fighting Ortiz
Since Berto and Bailey have same promoter we are not getting the drama
HBO paid Sergio 1.5M to fight Barker with 25 to 1 odds lol, who else is going to pay him that? HBO pays fighters with higher rating less than that
WBC is worst than WBA;i've never seen WBA(the oldest organization)stripped a champ only to give the possibility to become world champ a BUM like WBC is doing for Chavez Jr.;and i don't talk about CANELO(try to defend your title now vs ANGULO or vs a top contender......c'mon);with diamond belt, silver belt etc....WBC has more belts than all others organizations.........!
That is because the WBA just upgrades the reg champs to super champs for no reason like the 118 champ Moreno(after 2 split Decisions) and even Cotto with 0 defences so now they 2 socalled champs in the same weight
I was just about to say the same thing. If the scale was 2 pounds off, however, then ODLH weighed in at 147 lbs limit.
Also, I don't know why Montiel's camp was upset. I don't think there is a rule stating that a fighter can't check himself on the official scale before the official weigh in time. If anyone knows any different, I would like to know...
Montiel was upset because they moved the time so donaire could lose the exta weight. So he was forced to wait longer to take the fluids, etc.
