Yep
Max Kellerman @Max_Kellerman 12h
After 4th, Roy Jones watched Brook in corner & told me "Brook giving up." Corner stopped prematurely to put responsibility on them #GGGBrook
His eye socket was broken in the 4th. Should have quit between rounds.
Joshua is fighting the worst of American boxing... Martin followed by Breazeale. Who's next? Malik Scott?
5th or 6th unbeaten prospect in a row.
Joseph Parker next I believe.
Another largely untested prospect.
Depends on what he takes and what he trains for.
PEDs don't automatically equal bulk these days. Look at Lance Armstrong. Literally anyone could be on PEDs these days and you'd have a hard time knowing by their appearance alone.
Joshua's just a more blatant example than most.
"blatant example?"
Not the right language. Armstrong was blatant about his cheating.
Very few in the game are saying Joshua is cheating. Just keyboard warriors and fan boys of other fighters.
Yes me.
Joshua trains harder than the other blobs in the division.
Looks at the state of those who have failed tests. Ortiz, the Furies, Toney etc.
They take drugs to close the gap.
Very few people had a problem with Wlad, what's the difference?
He's Ukrainian.
Not British.
It is a culture thing. You genuinely wouldn't understand unless you saw it for yourself.
Blatant in that it's obvious to anyone with eyes and a bit of common sense. He's not a flagrant cheater, I'll give him that. He'll likely never be caught unless things go seriously pearshaped, or he pisses off the wrong people.
As I said people in the know aren't calling him a cheat.
Just keyboard warriors and Fury.
He is a british athlete not an American stop judging us on your standards.
A failed test in the UK would destroy his career.
I believe he's dirty. I mean just look at the shredded look he has got now. Its just not possible for all to be natural.
My problem is that, if he is dirty, how is he getting away with it? Who is supplying him with the drugs, the information, the medical information to be able to get away with it and the testing that happens over here in the UK. One slip up from him and he fails a test. So who is helping him if he is on gear. I dont believe good old Tony Sims would know.. Rob Mccracken.. Is he getting some hired help from some underground pharmacists..?
Actually the guys who have been banned recently have been fatties.
Making up for being lazy trainers.
The way Joshua trains he would be far bigger if he was juicing.
Of course a failed test would destroy his career, which is why his handlers will make sure it never happens.
His being British has nothing to do with anything.
Ok imagine Wilder gets banned for 1 year. (High possibility)
It will have zero affect on his ability to pull a crowd in the USA. The attitudes in the USA are that everyone cheats.
In the UK the attitudes are very different. A majority of your track team going to Rio have been banned for using PEDs before. In the UK they would be banned from representing their country for life.
That is the difference. You get a ban for missing 3 test dates here.
Obviously by the pro ranks there is no country to represent. The people very quickly get the daggers out for anyone who crosses that line.
He is a British Olympic athlete.
We actually ban our athletes forever.
Plus he packs out arenas. He gets done and he will struggle to sell out a kids party.
Most of you that accuse him of using roids clearly have little to no knowledge of strength and conditioning.
He's ripped but he's not that "jacked up". He's far from a bodybuilding body. His physique is achievable naturally.
All of their sports people cheat. The USA is right up there with Russia.
They just can't believe anyone is clean.
no **** Joshuas not natural
Hes trains like a boxer and does plyometric work which can never build that type of muscle
Even if he trained like a bodybuilder he still wouldnt be as big/lean as he is.
Its incredible how naive people really are. If you think Wlad, Joshua and most top level boxers and athletes in general dont take PEDs youre living in a dream
He is tested better here than fighters in the USA.
Genetics play a part.
Plus he does do weights
Anything that Fury says should be discounted.
He speaks out of his rear end.
He spent 2 months saying he was going to KO Wlad then in the fight never planted his feet long enough to throw a knockout punch.
There will be some reason for this statement. He maybe trying to legitimise this win for Joshua, so when he fights Joshua, no one will call Joshua an inexperienced bum.
Any huge southpaw is always dangerous .Most fighters step it up when fighting tougher opposition which Martin will do . If Joshua wins easy he beat a bum if he struggles even a little he will be overatted .It'll just be the same old same old.
It is a no win for Joshua regarding his rep. However there is a title and a big wedge of cash to be earned.
So you seriously think that anyone besides Fury, Wilder, Povetkin, Klitschko and Ortiz stands a chance at beating him?
Joshua has already beaten Fury senseless.
No experts picked Fury to beat Wlad either. Experts don't know shit, most of the time. Joshua's got a huge hype machine behind him so of course he's going to enjoy favourable odds at the bookies if he keeps knocking over his overmatched opponents. Doesn't mean anything except that there are plenty of gullible idiots like you around artificially inflating his chances. I honestly hope Joshua is made the favourite by the British boxing public. Quids in for those who know the score.
How about that Martin fights with a low guard and Joshua has koed fighters long over the top right.
The Hopkins southpaw kiss of death shot.
Doctor's career is over. he is spouting rubbish to get clients.
You have to be pretty dumb to believe a disgraced con artist without a medical licence.
LMAO the way Martin landed after the second KD was classic.
That was crazy. Joshua literally didn't have to throw a punch other than the straight right and he landed it every time. He is in an entirely different world than someone like Martin.
I don't mean to say I told you so, but I said he had no head movement, I said he wasn't as good as Whyte and I said he was open to the straight right over the top.
My fear was that he would keep getting skittled. Thankfully the ref saw sense.
Maybe Haye-Klitschko? And we know how that turned out...
I need to watch more Martin fights, only seen his last one. He was knocked a bit, people saying it was a "fluke", etc., but I think there was more to it than that. I actually logged into this thread to stick up for Charles Martin, but then I'd forgotten he was American and this was NSB, which of course means I don't have to.
I looked at his boxrec record. Thought it looked fudged. Lots of poor winless fighters. So watched a load of videos on YouTube.
He is a step down for Joshua.
