This kid is from my hometown and even before signing to golden boy I never saw anything special in him...I wish him nothing but the best but I just don't see anything in him that will elevate him past hype status I'm from Brownsville, Texas. I saw him in a good sparring session with Emanuel Augustus here at the Boys & Girls Club, but I also saw Figueroa get whooped by a local pro whose record is 0-7.
