I like that Atlas badmouthed Estrada...you of course went on to win. Now he'll explain how in another generation Estrada wouldn't have won this one :bs2:
The guy lives, eats, and breathes training and is very clean. Maybe part of why he's not questioned is because there's never been any reason to suspect him whatsoever. No other opponent has ever called him out from what I know. Nobody has ever said they suspected it. Think about it, the first guy to call him out was a guy who KNEW he lost the first fight and was about to fight the second. Don't just buy into everything people say
I gotta tell you though, hearing it sometimes makes me think it could help your opponent time you because it's an audible rhythm. Just a point I've alwas thought of lol
Really? That's pretty damn random but I guess great minds think alike :lol1:
I did a similar thing is this same article version P.BF which is what gave me the idea to do it in this. Damn, I'm so disappointed...
what people dont know is, besides the torn ACL, Shane's also broke both arms that morning of the weigh in...and to top it off, he had a stroke right before his ring walk
Lmaoooo you didnt see him come in on crutches?!
Anyway, a torn ACL looks like Yuri Foreman hobbling, not Shane Mosley touching gloves and holding. Man up.
There is only one...
At a catchweight of 52,000 tons (Godzilla usually weighs in at 55,000)
YOU MOTHERFVCKER I WAS GOING TO POST THE SAME THING!!!!
green k...but with anger...
thank you for confirming that the ATG/GOAT should be able to easily dispose of a bum who is simply stronger due to roids.
I wish women would accept what I said as fact like that...
I'm 5'6 145. I'm confident that I have the boxing skills to beat just about any bum off that the street on steroids. Roids give you "strength" not skill. So an ATG? That bum would get washed. I will not apply my thinking to Pac-PBF because I refuse to discuss it.
lol you don't acquire DNA while growing up...it's with you by the time you were born. growing up in the hood or in a mansion will not make your DNA better or worse.
no disrespect but I'm not a fvcking idiot :pat:
Go read my post on page 9
Self-confidence.
I was gonna say pride and determination. When you hate to lose, when the thought of losing makes you feel less than human you will run like an unstoppable machine. Your body can make you capable of more than you could ever imagine
Fight Maidana? But what if Bradley loses and ends up out of the sweepstakes?!?!?! In fact, why fight at all? If he loses he's screwed, so he might as well just not fight at all :nonono:
The question is valid.
I have a good feeling that you can answer it, though.
Was Lewis-Rahman I a controversial decision?
OOOMMMMGGGG I've been following the new posts in this thread hoping for something, SOME iota of sanity surrounding two guys that you think you care about but really don't affect your life at all.
Everybody should put what I have in my profile in theirs, we need a separate forum for all Pac or Mayweather talk, really.
But your not going to get an opportunity for either Pac or Floyd unless you build a BIGGER fan base for yourself Bradley. Your still a no name fighter.. Take the fight with Khan and earn an opportunity with Pac or Floyd..
Come on now, why should he have to earn his big fight? Isn't he entitled since he's unified the JWW divi...oh that's right he hasn't earned sh*t yet, my fault -_-
Seriousy, as of now Khan brings more money to a Pac or Mayweather fight than Timmy, even if Khan and Pac say they won't fight. He's holding out to fight one of two guys in a division that he hasn't even moved up to yet! I mean come on, if you're going to do all of this just to get that fight at least begin your move up to WW.
He's still a ****ing idiot. That's not going to give anyone a superior genetic code. You're born with what you're born with. I believe that what *he* believes he's talking about are 'acquired traits'. Genetics just don't work like that. He's a racist prick. He can euphemize and sugar coat and do whatever the hell he has to do to make what he's saying appear more palatable to him, but what he's saying is that one set of people are superior to another set.
Yeah, I get it doesn't change your DNA, obviously.
BUT
I gotta tell you, I grew up in Queens and once I started getting into trouble and after we had some major incidents in the neighborhood my parents moved me out to the suburbs since we came across money (long story). I have to say that, not just with fighting, but with almost everything I've found city kids to be more competitive. Those who have gone to school aren't as book smart as suburban kids, but they hustle their asses off to end up getting a job. Driving, shopping, working, I mean in every way I've noticed how much more driven the city kids I know are than the suburban kids. Not to mention having a TON more common sense. This is my experience at least, maybe not everybody's had this but I know I have.
So I get what he was saying, I don't think he literallymeant growing up in the city changes your DNA, I think he meant it in the sense that it affects the character of the person and, I gotta tell you, I agree with him in that sense
He said it was because when you get hit below the belt in a boxing match they stop the fight but in baseball they make you get right back in. First of all, that's bs, second of all no fighter I've ever seen has taken the 5 minutes. Oh, and boxing 12 rounds is one of the most grueling athletic accomplishments around. Not that catching isn't tough, but catching punches is definitely tougher.
I used to be able to. Then I tore my groin. Now I don't try. True story too, I was 12 when I tore it and needless to say I was NOT happy. Took 2 years to fully recover -_-
Gotta say I'd love to see him fight Judah, Guerrero, Matthysse, and even Devon Alexander if he shows something moving forward in addition to the obvious fight with Bradley. Any one of those guys could/would give him a good fight and I'd even like to see Bradley fight them all. There's SO many big fights in that division, for now I'd like Khan-Judah and then Khan-Bradley. But, whoever wins Khan-Bradley needs to hang around JWW and see how long they can hold those titles, because defending in that division would be an extraordinary accomplishment:boxing:
