NO FIGHTER SHOULD DICTATE WHAT TESTS HIS OPPONENTS TAKE. Name me another sport where an athlete dictates what tests his opponents should take?
Pac has passed all tests HIS SPORTS RULING BODY HAS ASKED HIM TO TAKE. Not only that, but pac is already willing to take more stringent testing that his sport's RULING BODY DOES NOT REQUIRE HIM TO.
Pac has conceded to that point. FLOYD HAS NOT.
FLOYD IS THE ONE WITH THE ULTIMATUM.
Not pac.
AGAIN,
Pac has conceded on the testing. Its floyd with the take it or leave it approach.
You do know that Pac had his own demands also that had to be met, right? It's not just Floyd with his OST. Floyd agreed to all of Manny's demands, from weight of glove, to his own weight limit at 10million per additional pound. You do know that Pacquiao is protecting himself by asking Floyd to pay 10 million per pound over so he's not cheating or has an advantage? Understand that both fighters are at fault here, it's not just one camp.
Did Manny really turn back the clock and defy age last night? IMO No. He is just a once great fighter who has exposed a division as being weak. Thurman, Garcia and Porter are all nothing specials. Ordinary fighters who would be totally nameless 10-20 years ago.
right on the button
And Pac already agreed to take the tests, he said so himself SEVERAL TIMES and its recorded. you could check youtube if you wish. funny thing is, people would rather believe what one of Pac's lackeys (Konz) say over what he himself says.
This is a half truth. What he has agreed to is tests with a CUTOFF date. So in essence, yes he agreed to testing. But what the REAL testing that is being asked for is NO CUTOFF (Olympic standards). That my friend, is a 100% fact statement. Don't believe the blogs that speculate.
TIME OUT.
Why is Martinez, the middleweight champ, calling out Chavez Jr, the other middleweight champ?
MOTHERFUKER is ducking ALL THE HEAVYWEIGHTS.:wtf1:
Few points:
- There was no agreement from the Pacquiao camp for OSDT. Still need a cutoff date.
- USADA doesn't do testing outside of the country, Arum wants WADA to do testing in the Philippines if it ever goes down.
- Pacquiao never said he was afraid of needles, he said he just didn't like taking blood near the time of the fight because it makes him feel "weak" (see Erik Morales post fight interview)
- How is Floyd big enough for Martinez, but Pacquiao isn't; Margarito's bigger than Martinez and weighs 170lb after hydration and Pac fought him. Why is it called ducking for Floyd and yet not to Pacquiao?
- What's going to happen after Marquez gets dominated by Pacquiao? Is Pacquiao still going to get praised even though he made Marquez fight way above Lightweight like Mayweather did? Because when Sergio calls out smaller fighters, that's bad for boxing. Yet, the two pound4pound best are doing the SAME EXACT THING WITH MARQUEZ.
:bukkake:
What's happening right now is nothing more than a deconstruction of an illusion, but its being done from the vantage point of a boxing fan. Sometimes when things happen that are shocking the the first and human reaction is to find a meaning that we can accept. We'll run by the list of obvious explanations on our way to something that helps us steady the shaky world beneath our feet. It's a normal human reaction and shouldn't be confused with anything else.
I was a loyal Tyson robot, nothing mattered more to me than the idea "Kid Dynamite" was invincible. I can still remember the feeling I had when one of his fights was on, Mike Tyson was the fighter of a young generation, after all he'd won the title after just turning twenty. But when reality came into the fantasy all I could do was find reasons why he lost and as the minutes ticked by to hours the excuses became more elaborate and fanciful.
Whether some realize it or not, or maybe its been couched in all of this boxing rhetoric, but there are some folks that refuse to see reality for what it is. You can see it in how they argue their points and it never becomes more clear than in their stubborn refusal to acknowledge the most basic of facts if it somehow shows Floyd Mayweather in a good light.
People need answers that they can use and "Marquez was on steroids" will work as well as anything else. And unlike Mayweather's accusations of doping toward Manny, this one will find a more willing audience.
Excellent post!
also fighting outside of the US, JMM might have less stringent PEDs testing.... if a roided JMM can destroy Bradley, his chances against Floyd look a lot better
No... and No.
The most impressive thing I saw in this fight, was the fact that Maidana got up from that 100% full power body shot to the liver.
Just about everyone else would have been like, fuuuuuuuuuck that.
Seriously, everyone needs to get over the Castillo fight. It's not like it was a complete blowout and he got robbed. It was a close fight and lots of people feel Castillo won, and same with Floyd. GET. OVER. IT.
With all the hype given to Martinez then he should move and fight legit middleweights like Pirog, Bute or Sturm. Martinez v Manfredo is a joke. :boxing:
martinez doesn't have the cojones to call out pirog.
He had the cojones to fight Paul Williams, who everyone avoided.. twice. Just because Pirog hasn't happened yet doesn't mean he doesn't have a set.
Bute is a super middleweight. Sergio just recently became middleweight champion coming from Jr middleweight all of his career.
Do you ever give credit where credit is due?
Welcome to boxingscene forums, where the fighter is as good as the last round he fought.
Bernard went from living legend, a guy who is a marvel that fights all comers.. to he's a fake, piece of sh!t dirty fighter.
And Dawson, now can suddenly beat Pascal after losing to him, simply because he looked tough during post fight.
Bravo !
After all of these threads about saying Canelo was too big for him, and saying May a chump for having a 154 belt and never defending it.. there better not be a single person questioning the integrity of Mayweather. This is the best possible fight right now, and everyone knows it.
GAME ON.
manny agreed to full testing with no cut off. should i post the vid of that up?
Yes - by an unedited source, because that NEVER happened. You shouldn't even ask if you should post the vid, just post it if you're so confident.
I know it's 100% horse ****. Let's see what you can dig up.
Just so you know - they never "AGREED" on a cut-off date. The Pacquiao camp GAVE a cutoff date and it was rejected. You have to get your facts straight dude. Pacquiao is a great fighter, but you clearly don't know wtf is going on.
So..
Let's say Pacquiao and Floyd fight. Let's pretend, even though it's possible because one's a southpaw and one is conventional, an accidental headbutt takes place. Pacquiao is bleeding, not that bad, but bleeding. Can it really be said that Pacquiao now will be at a severe disadvantage because of a teaspoon of blood came out? Because that's what the OST is, a teaspoon of blood, not a pint. Has he never knocked anyone down or out after a cut from a punch? From my recollection, he's been in quite a few wars with his trunks soaked in blood, and has emerged victorious.
Why are people still talking about Pacquiao when he's still sleeping?
Can you guys keep quiet? He'll wake up right before Rios.
Focus on this phenomenal bout vs Alvarez.
Thanks
Deca is an injectable steroid
this mfer knew what he was takin
this.
For anyone that is educated in bodybuilding and gear (steroids), they would all know this.
I can only LOL at all of the Canelo by KO.
There's a better chance of Malignaggi scoring a knockout in a fight, than Floyd being knocked down, never mind out?
And with Floyd senior as his trainer.. I can only LOL one more time.
Conclusion: LOL no knockout for Canelo.
getting on his bicycle will help steroidgio cuz f he ever does fight JR, that's all he'll b doing s getting on his bicycle.
Please, enlighten us as to which supermarket you purchase your Haterade?
You must buy that **** in bulk.
Flomos keep claiming that Pac refused to take the test when in fact he agreed to take the most stringent test ever asked of a fighter at the time. The ONLY point of contention has always been the cut-off date, which Floyd conveniently moved, and not the test itself.
Before Floyd-Pac, has any fighter ever been required by an opponent to take a blood test for performance enhancement drugs even at 14 days cut-off? NONE! And Pac agreed to that condition.
Another thing is that the test that Floyd demanded was not Olympic-style drug testing, which was year-round testing, but his own idea of OSDT.
Finally, Floyd and flomos keep repeating "Take the Test", and yet Floyd won't even enter into formal negotiations with Pac and Arum so that his brand of testing can be incorporated into the fight contract. What the fool wants is literally for Pac to take the test BEFORE he even negotiates a fight.
If that is not the height of cowardice, then I don't know what is.
I don't understand what's so difficult or why he's so reluctant about taking a blood test during random periods of training camp. No other fighter has this problem.
Who cares if he takes it before the negotiation. After the fight. Before dinner. After brunch. THE RESULT SHOULD BE THE SAME.
After watching this fight for the 2nd time last night I am convinced I was right the 1st time I watched it. After 3 rounds Pascal was ahead 30-25. This fight changed in round 4 when Bhop went to the body with 4 good shots. After this Pascal was reluctant to engage and repeatedly backed up. It's hard to see pascal winning another round after the 3rd. If you give him the 12th, which could be fair, he still trails 14 to 12. Bhop pushed him back all night, threw more, landed more punches ,combos, and won the body and power punch matchup. Pascal let a 45 year old man outwork, and outland him, in a fight he lost. The 1st knockdown was a punch behind the head. Kudos to Bhop, his legend only increases, and what he is doing is unbelieveable at his age. Pascal is #1 light heavyweight in the world, and Bhop is supposed to be washed up. The teacher took the student to school last night.
This.
I'll have to give Pascal credit for rounds 1-3. Those knockdowns, regardless of where they landed, had B-Hop on the canvas. Usually, it doesn't matter what you do, B-hop never tastes canvas. After that, as you said, those body shots started neutralizing his onslaught and had him running. B-hop then became the aggressor. I've recorded and watched it three times, and I agree with your points.
To all you haters that keep saying the old man should retire because he's done enough already.. seriously?? Why would you discredit a man for putting on masterful performances at his age? Is it because he's the bad guy? FFS, I hate the bad guy persona myself, but the guy is a freaking LEGEND.
George Foreman's knockout of Moore was ridiculously celebrated because everyone loved George, and wasn't the heel. And, he was getting his ASS BEAT by Moore until 1 round before that KO. Give credit where credit is due. B-Hop is no joke.
I want this fight to happen for this precise reason, to extinguish the hate coming from people that say Sergio is ducking guys.....
You do know that this is only coming from the pactards and flomos on this forum, right?
He's universally regarded #3 for taking out top opposition.
no he didnt..... Floyd had a torn rotator cuff........ Still one and beat him in an immediate rematch......
No blue print...
Part of the blue print is to make him tear his rotator cuff. cmon bro.
Regardless of how good Zab looks, he's damaged goods.
Put Zab vs Khan, then Timothy Bradley vs Pac. Tim is undefeated and would give Pac more trouble than Zab can any day.
Enough of these worn out fighters vs Pac. It's annoying.
Klitschko brothers are a joke. They are the reason why the Heavyweight division sucks. They are so boring I fall asleep watching those clowns. I hope David Haye whoops some @$$. I don't see that happening tho.
The heavyweight division has no one, but they don't suck as a result. Everyone is all about hit and get hit. These "clowns" are about hit and DONT get hit.
That's the name of the game.
After Pacquiao just showed he can get neutralized by a good counter-puncher, NOONE has a style to give Mayweather problems.
Yep, call me a Flomo all you want. Truth hurts.
Has Pacquiao ever tested positive for PEDS ?? That's all i wanted to know.
Take off with your sarcasm.
No he hasn't tested positive. I'm not sure if you know, but there are PEDs that are not detected in urine.
I'm not saying he is on it - but what I'm saying is, there is a possibility regardless if he's tested positive or not because of the protocol used in boxing for testing.
I know you're a die-hard fan, but you have to open your mind a little bit. Just like the Floyd fans have to admit that there's a chance he's scared.
