MGM Grand, Las Vegas - Former three division champion Shane Mosley broke down a potential mega-fight between Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr. In the last twelve months, Mosley has faced both fighters, and dropped lopsided twelve round decisions to both men.
"The fight would be interesting. Manny has good punching power. He is not necessarily physically strong but he has good punching power. Mayweather is technical and defensive. It would be a very tough fight for both of them. Pacquiao is the tougher fighter. Mayweather has great defense and a great boxing IQ. It's going to be a difficult fight for both," Mosley said.
Mosley discussed his knockdown at the hands of Pacquiao. It was the first time that Mosley was dropped since his first meeting with Vernon Forrest in 2002.
"I was pretty hurt. It didn't seem like a big shot when he threw it but the impact was pretty strong," Mosley said.
