why should Hatton pass up Tszyu? The fight was not even a blowout, I had Tszyu and Hatton pretty much tied up until the 11th and the fight was awesome!! If you thought it was a blowout, then you guys are not much of boxing fans to judge an outcome. mmmm..if Morales goes up and stated himself "I will fight whomever the people want me to fight", he makes himself look bad. Everybody wants to see a rematch..you cant deny that. Come on man, you've seen previews of the fight and you're talking confidently about how Pacquiao showed vulnerabilities. That's a little too much to say for someone that hasn't seen the fight.
I could understand if you said, well if Larios took Pacquiao 12 rounds and had his moments and then connect it and say Morales is a much better fighter than Larios... that would be a good approach.
You should also remind people that the series is 1-1 and that Morales DECISIONED Pacquiao. People seem to forget that.

It's called jealousy. They miss a JCC like fighter to save the day for them. They can see the pinoys rejoicing, the feeling of loyalty, camaraderie and the unity. I have to admit...there are some asshole Pacfans who just sticks Pacquiao to their faces...oh well we can't stop that :D They have their reasons, a superstar fighter comes once in a lifetime and I say, better make the most of it. There won't be a JCC anymore for the mexicans in the next 50 years....a Trinidad for the Ricans....so does a Pacquiao. I don't care if pacfans are called nuthuggers, things like this never happens again... ;)

i think pac merely held back his punches in that larios fight. he even admitted it, but refused to say the obvious reasons. what we saw in that fight was pac the promoter not pac the fighter
yeah, I read about that. Freddy Roach wanted Manny to pace himself and score points rather then go for the early flurries. He also wanted Manny to become a better counter puncher. Larios's chin check in the 3rd round gave manny a good wake up call on his defense and guard. hope he improves

I was reading this particular thread and noticed hatred towards Manny because of his fans. My question is why would you hate a boxer through his fans? The filipinos as boxing fans show great loyality and pride to Manny as Mexicans and Europeans to their boxers. For example, Mexico's known to have diehard fans by their fighters but I've never had a problem with them so much that i would hate..for examle-Morales/Barrera through their fans. Whats everyone's issue? All of the foreign fans more or less show equal support to their fighters yet when Manny starts to become hyped, hatred is drawn through his people'support. Its hard to believe. Filipino prize fighters don't come around often but yet when the filipinos suceed, They are hated through their own fan base? rather then knowing and judging them characteristically. :rolleyes:
