I wasn't pissed with the commentary. I thought he was right on key. Johnson came out looking like someone who should never have been allowed in the ring. All he did in Round 1 was throw these wild-assed hooks, and stuff. It ended up working, but I didn't like him, and a younger Roy would have slaughtered Glen.

Yeah and I bet Steward kept thinking in back of his mind the entire time that Jones would pull out a spectacular 1 punch knockout up to the point when he said, "I think panic is setting in and Jones will do whatever it takes", until, WHAM! A second or 2 after, Jones is out cold. I bet Emmanuel was crying inside. BTW-Date don't matter! :D

I hope to hell that Roid retires and takes Manny Stewart with him. Johnson came out like a buzz saw and Manny said he wwas acting immature. What's wrong, Manny? Did the mean man beat up your bitch? That was the most bias commentary i've heard in one round of boxing.Before the bell rang to start Round one,Manny praised Jones,saying "With this atmosphere,it just shows you that Jones is still a superstar".Basicly kissing Jones Jr's ass. I think he said "This very immature and amatuerish of Johnson to be fighting like this with all the experience he's had.He's not landing any effective,Jones is just leaning against the ropes taking all the snap out of Johnson's punches".He basicly discredited Johnson and all the punishing blows he landed. I think somebody gave Manny a serious pep talk after round one,because in Round two,he started giving Johnson credit when he landed some good punches.I guess he woke up and realized that Johnson was a big threat to beating Jones,and it wasn't just a normal successful comeback attempt by a great fighter.

you know who's full of sh*%t is the big 3 mexicans. Without a doubt I gave Morales more respect after that fight but it wasn't an ass kicking. Im suprised Manny took those Morales shots snd didn't fall on his face. If you want to talk about an ass kicking, Barrera's fight w/ Manny was as ass woopin. That was horrible to watch especially with Barrera's resume. Articles stated in Maxboxing.com..Barrera wouldn't consider a rematch to Pacman stating he knows he would now beat him because Morales beat him. Everyone thought pac would kill morales but nothing. ( styles makes the fights) That upsets me as a boxing fan, especially not going after the fighter who Larry Merchant stated " got destroyed, embaressed, anialated ". Be a man not a pussy fortune teller. Marquez..already had no respect for because not accepting the mannyfight for part 2 because of low purses received. Morales stated " I leave my next matchup to my people " and they want a rematch. People state he's moving on to bigger and better things..this rematch can't be any better. A lot of questions would be anwsered, fans would shut it with exuses and then move on from there. as much repect I give to a Morales giving a fight, stick to your word..esepecially for your people. Just watched the replay and noticed another "gem" of information from Stewart. Talking about the possibility of Roy needing to retire, Manny the mathmatician informs us that Roy has been "giving us thrills since the '88 Olympics......about 20 years". :rolleyes:
