In my mind the pac win is what made morales great to me. I mean who turns southpaw at the end of a close fight...
I never had much respect for hamed maybe it was just his style, but thats a fight I would always pick barrera to win.
the last five or so articles ive read someones quoted as saying Pacquiao should "CLEAR" things up, or he should "CLEAR" the air here. I wonder what they are implying. It sucks but people definetly have the right to be suspicious, even the mayweathers.
If it's not detected thru urine, or blood. How is HGH detected??
72 homeruns
participating in tour de france with cancer
knocking out ODH, Ricky Hatton, and Miguel Cotto after coming from flyweight.... hahaha just kidding throwing some fuel on the fire.:boxing:
floyd talking a lot of shit about pacs losses, he needed the judges to pencil whip baldomir AND castillio to win. the more i hear floyd talk the more i dont like him.
first off im not on pacs nuts...
just reading OP statements and i cant disagree more when i read
But when he says one demensional, i know what he means. Pacs diversity and angles are almost entirely offensive, and most of them come from when an opponent is stationary and attempting to trade.
this is malarky, he ducks a left hook and drops hatton w/a right hook of his own, pretty much did the same thing to cotto on the first knockdown. his defense created that offense. As far as him needing stationary targets, well thats even more BS. he counters so effectively that his opponents tend to freeze up and not want to exchange because the dont want to be the highlight reel on espn. Pretty much what happened to DLH and cotto they became stationary they didnt start the fight that way. If you watched the fight roach was screaming at manny to stick to the plan dont fight cottos fight, well he fought the way cotto wanted to and beat him at his own game he did exactly what most people said he couldnt. There is nothing one dimensional about that...
....lol @ hattons left hook. Come on man. Thats the same left that Mayweather saw 6 feet away before he threw him into that tecate post. You honestly going to tell me hatton/Dlh WERENT stationary targets? When cotto moved, what did pac do other than wait for him to slow down?
I know about his telegraph hook, and I wasnt saying floyd didnt do the same thing. I was just pointing out that what he did was not something a one dimensional fighter does. DLH was more stationary than hatton yes, but my point was cotto didnt start stationary, but by the end of 4 he didnt have a choice. He could stand there and get knocked out or he could retreat and throw pop shots and end up losing anyway.
Also would like to point out im not hatin on mayweather. hes nasty. but if i never hear another dumbass comment by him again it would be to soon. with that said he completey dominated the last person that actually gave manny a run for his money. yeah marqez was slowed a little bit from the extra weight he had to gain, but floyd showed his skills.
No offense but you don't understand boxing enough if you some to this conclusion.
Just because Manny was able to stop Cotto but Mosley wasn't, doesn't mean Manny hits harder than Mosley. It just means that Manny got off more clean shots.
Manny's speed is incredible and he was hitting Cotto with shots he normally doesn't get hit with.
Mosley didn't get the free shots on Cotto that Pac did, that's all it means.
he dropped him twice early in the fight, compared to mosely goin the distance and never really hurting him. pacs knockdowns had nothing to do with accumulation fast, crisp, POWERFULL shots knocked cotto down
