i think clottey is over rated. his only decent fight was against margarito.
and margarito is losing a lot of clout with the loss of paul williams sat. night.
clottey is tough and good stamina, but i think there are 10 welterweights above him.

No it's not that he's not in the weight room. For anyone who works out Paul Williams problem is clear. He's fighting in a weight class lower than the one he should actually be fighting in. It's unhealthy to starve and dehydrate yourself to make weight. He weighed in at 146 and jumped up to 164 overnight. That's unhealthy and not only does a person lose water and fat but you also lose muscle. If he actually fought at 160 he would be a lot stronger because he would be healthier.
Shane brings more money.
Shane brings about as much money to the fight as you do. Not only that but it isn't smart for Mayweather to fight Shane because....
1. It's the tougher fight
2. Less money on PPV buys
3. He wouldn't get his deserved credit because people would say that Mosley was 36 and coming off a loss to Cotto.
No way is a fight with Shane Mosley beneficial to Mayweather. Trust me, I'm like Ellerbee when it comes to this stuff. Genius.
That fight won't happen cuz it aint enough money involved. It's only ONE more fight for Floyd to take (not counting a rematch between DLH) and that's with Cotto. He's the only one that even has a chance of doing a million buys in a fight with Floyd. The public won't pay to see anyone else fight Floyd (unless it's a rematch with DLH).
But hypothetically...Floyd by unanimous decision. Mosley don't even have his stamina anymore. He was tired as hell in the EARLY stages of that fight and he finished it on a second wind. But mosley's career is over...he won't get another big pay day because it's only one person that is doing so and that is Floyd.
DLH has some clout left but Floyd has got the whole boxing sport on his shoulders. He's the only one bringing in the PPV buys. No one else is producing. Soon they are gonna have to start fighting on regular HBO because once Floyd leaves nobody will do over 500,000 PPV buys.
The Mayweather V Cotto fight would look like a replay of the Mayweather V DLH fight...Except Cotto doesn't have as good of a defense as DLH.

And to all the idiots on the forum...when someone says p4p that means disregard the weight class the fighters fought in. People on here are saying that RJJ would have got knocked out against a heavy weight. p4p means that "hypothetically" if both fighters could fight in a match were skills were just matched up and weight was irrelevant who would win.
His career really won't be appreciated until he's gone but what people don't understand about Mayweather is that he really should be fighting at Junior Welterweight. (And that's why I don't buy Hatton's excuse of him having to move up in weight as an excuse). Most fighters in the welterweight division (Cotto, Margarito, Williams) weigh in at 147 during the official weigh in but then jump up 10-15 pounds on the night of the fight. Mayweather is really the only fighter who is really 147. The rest of them bums should be fighting at 154 and 160. That's why Mayweather could fight at 140 if he wanted to. He would weigh in at 140 and then jump up to about 147 or 148 during the fight.
Mayweather is simply the greatest.
Hatton is gonna get KILLED SON!!! His career is over after this one. I feel sorry for his parents cuz they gonna be ring side looking like "Damn, my son got his ass beat."
Thoughts on the Fight
Hatton will be TKO'd in the 11th round and will get beat so badly that DLH will not get any respect if he fights him. Afterwards Hatton will go on Dancing with the Stars to say that he made it further than Mayweather.
