i wish i could laugh too.
i dont know whats more disappointing, waiting 6 hours for a laggy stream or roy getting KTFO again
Yeah.. Listening to the stream uploaders gloat as if this win over an old obviously fragile Roy at this point.... was just painful.
I looked everywhere for a stream of this or updates or anything because ive been a looong time RJ fan.... and to see his career end like this?? at like 3am to some guy nobody outside of Australia has ever heard of??? Man this sucks. Superman is finished.
Charles Martin getting a fluke win for a belt off an injury and then immediately signing to fight Joshua was a HUGE cashout. He had no chance, was willing to come to AJs home AND was in good spirits afterwards buying a bunch of nice stuff with the cashout payout he got. He destroyed his own career for some instant cash. No champ has ever gotten a belt and just gladly played the B-side like that imo.
In recent memory I think Mosley-Margarito was the worst. Shane was murdering him from the opening bell and is really the only guy to ever actually hurt Margarito.
I also agree with the poster above on Toney-Barkley. There were actually quite a few Toney fights like that where he just beat the sh*t out of guys in a way that made you feel sorry for them.
I also think Buster Douglas - Mike Tyson was an epic ass kicking. The judges were out to rob Douglas so the scored don't reflect it but when I've scored the fight I have never given Tyson a round except for the KD round which I score 10-9 Tyson.
If you watch that one Douglas drops so many vicious right hands on Tyson it's not even funny. Douglas' jab was also like a hammer and he was throwing uppercuts, hooks and the kitchen sink at Tyson. The amount of punishment Tyson took is something that often goes overlooked when discussing his career after that fight.

OP is a race bating piece of ****. Why even ask a ****ing question if youre going to call everyone racist for answering you?
Wards style is not that exciting to watch unless you are privy to the ins and outs of the game. I personally enjoy watching him pick people apart with his patient chameleon-like style, but completely understand why most people dont enjoy it.
Dont want to say that boxing = MMA but in MMA there is along history of guys saying comments similar to this that turned out to be drug cheats later on.
Great numbers. The UFC would be lucky to make those numbers without Brock Lesnar or someone else fighting.
Yeah but boxing would be lucky to have more than like 1 or 2 fights a year be this successful, as most events have underwhelming turnouts and ratings.
The consistency of having big numbers every month trumps have a HUGE number potential from guys that wont fight each other.
For anyone wondering, the guy hes with is Sergei Kharitonov, a pretty brutal MMA fighter and kickboxer. Guy was a beast before he blew up in weight. Still is though. Probably some nasty sparring sessions between the two (with Povetkin obviously getting the better being a MUCH better boxer).
I always like seeing the cross training these guys do being that their daily lives are so similar, even if the sports vary wildly.
The fact that this buffoon has repeatedly attempted to market himself as a "killer" that may end up killing someone in the ring someday... with all the real deaths and severe brain injuries that come from boxing... is outright disgusting.
Id like to see him talk like this in front of one of the families involved in recent boxing deaths.
Hes using a very real thing that afflicts boxing every so often.... as a ****ing marketing tool. SRR killed a man in the ring... it almost ruined his boxing mindset. This is NOT a game. Death is NOT a marketing tool.
Dude is just the worst lol
Yeah. to spend all night just trying find out just what time it would be... then stumbling on this choppy stream just in time to see him get leveled in a round and hear all the gloating that ensued. Lets just say im going to bed with a stomach ache. To think i stayed up until 3:30 to see that. ****.
Muay Thai is a bit different though. You take so much damage in that sport that you usually cannot have long careers. Most Thai fighters start at like 13-15 and retire before 25. Somewhat due to the early start but mostly because its SO ****ed on your body/brain.
I feel bad watching this because you can tell way before the finish that he was having trouble seeing punches coming and his gait movement was ****ed. He was very off balance after throwing shots and just looked shaky from the get go.
Rip to a true warrior that apparently loved fighting so much he wanted to do it forever. And bless his family and friends as Im sure they were always worried about this if he didnt quit fighting soon. :/
He was stone cold in the corner. I loved how he stared right into Tysons eyes in between one of the mid rounds and said something like "Just keep laying it on em, nobody is taking that many shots.... he (Deontay) knows whats going on here..."
SugarHill was 100% confident that they would break down Wilder. Ive almost never seen a coach more sure in this high stakes a fight.
Those who see racism everywhere are deeply troubled and filled with racism themselves.
One is on video and one isnt. Bottom line. And tbh nobody outside this website is talking about EITHER of these guys' cases.
Groves was really annoying in how he would sell his fights for a long time but it turns out hes honestly one of the good guys in boxing. He fights hard, hits hard, is a hard man mentally and yet is a genuinely nice guy. I wish him all the best and hope he wins the whole thing.
That ****ing sucks to hear. Was never a fan but will root for him now when I see hes fighting, if he fights again. Cant help but pull for the guy now...
Hope all involved recover well in time and RIP to his missus.
Oh FFS now we gotta have this ****** SJW bull**** in boxing too? I hate America right now and all the ****ing loons and women white knight bull****. Who gives a **** if Kovalev believes that its his right to feel that way you ****ing pc Nazi. Hes not even American so stop holding him to our whiney feminist culture bull****.
I wouldnt say he "fell short." He has been doing very well the last couple years and has shown hes definitely one of the best big men out there right now.
I DO however think its hard for him to beat that kind of style. Another lefty like Adonis. Also Its usually the case that the "wound tight" style fighter needs to beat the "loose" fighter early on or the nerves and gas tank come into play and the "wound tight" fighters nerves get fried and the "loose" fighter takes over. In MMA it reminds me of Dillashaw vs Garbrandt. Its not that Usyk is a million times the fighter Tony is or anything. Its the way their styles clash. Both are excellent fighters with Usyk having the edge and the better style in the head to head.
Khan is trying to become a mega-star. Judah is here to WIN. Not promote the fight. A win for him promotes HIM. Promoting the fight pretty much promotes Khan because this fights all about him pretty much.
He never ran like Mctapout has doe!
Floyd is going to hurt this kid. Mctapout is 5'9 but his fans talk like he's 7'1. Left hook will be open all night.
He just went life and death with Diaz who has 11 losses and lost to fucķñ clay guida lol.
Andre Ward says the Diaz's (esp Nick) are legit as **** in straight boxing and would do well against journeyman boxers and could do well in boxing overall if they trained for it and ditched MMA. SO basically youre an idiot for using Nate's record. Watch his fighting style (although theres no point if you dont understand MMA). He's VERY talented.
Conor gets worked of course but Nate is a good fighter. Boxers vouch for him.
I can see Eubank sopping Abraham late just down to volume.
Abraham is a tough as they come, but is battle worn and I can't see him living with Eubanks output.
The PPV is £16.95 -same type of price you would pay for Joshua VS Klitsckho, which is patently ridiculous if you think about it.
I remember a few years ago that I had Verizon come and install FIOS here for me in LA and the guy noticed I was watching fight-related vids on my laptop and went IN on Mosely Jr. Said he had an amateur fight with him but the whole thing was rigged, he basically easily outpointed Jr but got completely screwed in the decision.
So basically my cable guy beat the **** out of Mosley Jr. hahaha these "sons of greats" arent usually that great. Does greatness skip a generation or something? LOL
