If Pac can be floored with body shots early in his career by guys with losing records who's to say this guy can't bounce back. It will just take him alot to shake that reputation and be taken serious again. But, if he gets in a tough fight and sticks it out he will be back. I was kinda looking forward to an Ortiz vs Kirkland showdown and jesus that's so far gone now, it's crazy cause just this year they were both young stars now there both literally non factors and will have to start over, they just got a smell not even a taste. i didnt hear any interviews with pac saying he didnt deserve to be hit like that victor ortiz is just another fernando vargas at least vargas was a champion

Last week but I knew people would mock the Idea. Here is why I believe that its possible for him to do so. If you remember, Shane fought well into his late 20's and could have in his 30's at 135. If you understand human growth, at 25 is when you really stop growing physically. While you do put on some weight in you 30's and 40's if you keep in physical shape the size you were when you in your physical prime shouldnt be hard to get back two. We see it in the case of fighters like Roy Jones making 168, Zab being able to make 140 etc. These guys were always in great physical shape even between training camps. Also I really think with African Americans its alot easier since majority of blacks can keep the same frame well into there late 30's. Also unlike Cotto, De La Hoya and others, Shane never outgrew his weight class or struggled at any point to make weight. He simple went up to chase big time fights. He never should have been at 154 and even had to take steriods to bulk up to that size. I even think at one point he was even using a combo of supplements and weightlifting to make 147 (hence all that balco stuff). So in reality at best Shane is a WW and should have never fought higher than that. He has always made weight rather easy, keeps himself in great physical shape and could have easily made 135 well into his early 30's if he wanted to. I was gonna post this last week but I knew too many haters would focus on him fighting at 154 as oppose to the reason why. I wouldnt be shocked to see him at 140 and still be the shane we are use to seeing. fixed*.........

Mosley is above that he's the guy why does he have to take a step back and fight a guy that will make him no money and get him pretty much no credit. Shane is the number 1 WW he deserves better frankly. Cotto should be rematching Clottey if anything or going to Staples for a Mosley rematch. If it's about money, Floyd can go ahead and fight Hatton in manchester for Hatton's farewell fight which would fill out any stadium and plus it's easy money for Floyd. Pacquiao telling Floyd he needs to prove himself would just be clowning himself because Floyd can just go the Pacquiao route and fight everyone that Pacquiao fought, in this case "Pacquiao beats Cotto" so, Mayweather goes ahead and fights Cotto too.
