I for one, have not gave up on him yet. Hes only 22 and he fought a bad fight against a puncher with more power than most 22 year olds face. He has tremendous mainstream appeal, i think more than all the so called prospects right now. Hes a puncher, exciting fighter, good personality, like able and a good story. I am sure he will be back, and if he fights Maidana ten times he will beat maidana 8 or 9 times out of 10. What? you guys think iam dillusional?
If Pac can be floored with body shots early in his career by guys with losing records who's to say this guy can't bounce back. It will just take him alot to shake that reputation and be taken serious again. But, if he gets in a tough fight and sticks it out he will be back. I was kinda looking forward to an Ortiz vs Kirkland showdown and jesus that's so far gone now, it's crazy cause just this year they were both young stars now there both literally non factors and will have to start over, they just got a smell not even a taste.
i didnt hear any interviews with pac saying he didnt deserve to be hit like that victor ortiz is just another fernando vargas at least vargas was a champion
Nope. He doesn't have the mentality of a great fighter. Pacman may have lost early in his career, but he get KO'd. He didn't walk away to "preserve" himself. Ortiz is trash and wasted talent.
No, it's even easier than that. Khan got KTFO out in less than 90 seconds by Breidis Prescott (who's worse than Maidana) and after 2 fights he already has a ton of guys on his cock.
Good point man, good fkn point. Beers on me!
I give you my word he wont.
You don't easily get over quitting. Once you do it you lose confidence in yourself and you are more prone to quit than you were before. The blood wasn't that bad and the guy just quit.
Trust me the way boxing fans are, all it takes is Victor Ortiz to come back and Ko a few guys including Maidana and hes back.

I don't think he has that hunger in his blood to be a superstar.I think unlike other mexican fighters he will be affected by this fight, but he it's just my opinion I maybe wrong.
The guy has no heart. He quit when things weren't even that bad and his deameanor after the fight was evidence of that. I give you my word the next time things get rough for him or his eye gets cut he will quit.
Fukk that. He lost all his shine, if not for the loss, for the speech he gave afterwards. I never fell for the hype anyway, tho I did see a belt or 2 in his future.
Most people dont see it as him quitting, the ones that do are the hardcore boxing fans like us but people still seem to like him. People ask me when is he fighting again, and this and that.

forgot about Amir Khan? the 17 year old who won a silver medal. The 22 year old world champion?
