Last week but I knew people would mock the Idea. Here is why I believe that its possible for him to do so.
If you remember, Shane fought well into his late 20's and could have in his 30's at 135. If you understand human growth, at 25 is when you really stop growing physically. While you do put on some weight in you 30's and 40's if you keep in physical shape the size you were when you in your physical prime shouldnt be hard to get back two. We see it in the case of fighters like Roy Jones making 168, Zab being able to make 140 etc. These guys were always in great physical shape even between training camps. Also I really think with African Americans its alot easier since majority of blacks can keep the same frame well into there late 30's.
Also unlike Cotto, De La Hoya and others, Shane never outgrew his weight class or struggled at any point to make weight. He simple went up to chase big time fights. He never should have been at 154 and even had to lift weights to bulk up to that size. I even think at one point he was even using a combo of supplements and weightlifting to make 147 (hence all that balco stuff). So in reality at best Shane is a WW and should have never fought higher than that. He has always made weight rather easy, keeps himself in great physical shape and could have easily made 135 well into his early 30's if he wanted to.
I was gonna post this last week but I knew too many haters would focus on him fighting at 154 as oppose to the reason why. I wouldnt be shocked to see him at 140 and still be the shane we are use to seeing.
I see all these guys in the same boat
Floyd, Mosley, and Paul Williams. People claim they cant make lower weights again but as seen leading up to their fights are always making the weight easy and you never hear about issues or struggles in camp (weight wise).
They know there body's better than us. Fans seen how Hoya and Bryd look and the think everyone is like that. Hop was at 160 and drop lower sometimes until he was 40 at moved up to 175. The guy is built like a truck but drop to fight Winky and Pavlik at 170 I beleive, at an old age.

Shane can make 140. He knows what he's doing. If Mosley wins, he will be P4P fighter by beating the ebst fighter in his division. If Pacquiao wins, another ATG will be added on his resume.
Thats the way I see it pimp
Even though this is completely different...I played football and basketball and always had to bulk up 10-15 pounds for football and loose it when basketball started up. If you lay off the weights a man of his size can easily drop 8-10 pounds. So I wouldnt be the least bit shocked if shane could make 140 since even close to his 30's he was able to make 135
After the second Vargas fight, Emmanuel Steward was talking about Shane size. He said he isnt a big WW and beleived he could make 140 easily.
I believe Shane can do it. Hoya just couldnt pull the trigger even at 154 and 150 against Floyd and Forbes. Shane can still pull trigger.
