Tonights FNF start at 9pm EST @ ESPN2/ESPN3.com
Kendall Holt vs. Tim Coleman
Abraham Lopez vs. Gabriel Tolmajyan
Any body know or is there a way to find out who is working each fighters corner? Specifically the cut men's ?
i think this fight stinks, its an easy win for floyd, so it makes sense from his perspective.
but if this is what we have to go through to get Floyd v.s Manny, im all for it.
This won't happen just like ever other time it has been suggested as a possibility, this thread should be deleted.
i think you face should be deleted, but will it? prob not
this is a forum you yo-yo, you know where you DISCUSS stuff!
maybe you should prob not use the internet if thats the case ya ****ing hater
Mayweather is the lead promoter. He pays GB a flat fee as the co-promoter, which is why Mayweather retains 100% of the PPV, gate, etc. Mayweather brags about it all the time, how he doesn't have to kick up anything to any promoter, etc. How in the world would GB present a guarantee if he keeps nearly all the money from the show. TR offers Pacquiao a high guarantee based on their take of the gate, PPV, etc. If the PPV does not do as expected, TR could take a bath on the Bradley show.
Gotcha. Thanks for the info!
I don't know how many times it has to be explained. Pacquiao's base salary is $6 million. His guaranteed salary is $26 million, not including the pay-per-view and other sources of revenue. His guarantee is 6 million short of Mayweather's $32 million, but Mayweather guaranteed the money to himself where Top Rank guarantees that money to Pacquiao regardless of how bad the buyrate actually is.
Source please.
Um, you guys always say that Mayweather is his own boss and pays Golden Boy a flat fee. So there's your answer.
I haven't said anything big guy. I am just genuinely curious if he does guarantee his purse or does GB.
i was at the fight and felt lucas won. i just re watched it online, and still feel lucas won 114-113.... after the fight when lucas walked out, i told him he def won that fight, the man speaks no english, but knew what i meant and shook my hand.... cant wait to see him in the ring again as now he has even more to prove.
i hurd this story once about this guy willams sparring with tyson.... but id thought id ask if any one hurd any other stories about tyson sparring with willams first...
Manny is a great fighter. I have been watching boxing since 1979. He is a great champion but he simply isn't the greatest fighter I have seen. He is not better than floyd, sweet pea, leonard, hagler, duran, chavez, or ricardo lopez. Of course me saying he isn't as good as these guys is like saying Kobe isn't as good as Jordan or Magic.
To me he most closely resembles Mike Tyson. The scary power and a killer instinct but still makes too many mistakes that only great boxers can and have exploited.
Manny's greatness is the fact his body has allowed him to move up in weight and accomplish things that no other man has or will. Major props fopr that.
What I am surprised about is all the praise he is getting for beeating Margacheato. While he did beat his a$$ badly, he was a 5-1 favorite. This was expected to happen.
Now if he wins when he is not the favorite (and you all know there is only 1 fight he wont go in the favorite) then I may feel as strongly as Cuauhtémoc1502
end of thread....
its not blasphemy its the damm truth. And american sports has always played favored when it comes to who to criticize and for what reason. Let all you flomos and pactards play the blame game, im gonna go by the facts. Fact; they only had 1 legitimate negotiation where both parties sat down and talked about a potential fight, that was last january. Fact Mayweather agreed to his ridiculous demand of paying 10mil per lb every pound he was over weight, and Pacquiao did not agree to random drug testing. PERIOD, everything else going on is to sway public opinion. Be real and any pacquiao fan ask themselves this question. 2 years ago, when the negotiations failed to make manny vs pacquiao , fans DEMANDED that floyd take a challenge and face the next toughest opponent at welterweight, who was shane mosley at the time. When are we going to pretend that Manny is not doing the exact same thing floyd was and fighting names that dont bring much to the table in the ring, but have a lot of fans outside of it. Now you mean to tell me his next step up in competition is Marquez at 145lbs. FLoyd would be crucified if he took steps backwords in competition the way manny has been...... Manny does get a pass, to the point where his fight with miguel cotto @ a catchweight was a fricking title fight. ONLY FOR MANNY.
very well said, green k sent
i was at the Judah fight (brag...or maybe not) and when Lucas was walking back to the dressing room i said, "you won that fight man" and he shook my hand... i know he doesn't speak very much English regardless he is a real good guy and i hope nothing but the best for him.
Flomos will say Pac's ducking the test while their ****** Idol's not Fighting and ducking Pac. It's a broken record!
why should floyd fight at all if all you "fans" ***** and complain about who he fights and discredit every thing he does?
i do the same thing hes doing now, eff yall
Betting a million to win a 120k is kind of an unwise bet.
I am fairly sure he will be 120 grand richer but that is quite a bit of risk when weighed against the reward.
Couldn't even buy a car that Ross raps about for that kind of change.
im glad some one finally said it.... ross is a wanna be gangster, x-cop loser.... but some of his raps are nice
nobody quitted in that.............aforementioned matchup............
yep...............what strugg said.............. or some thing like that......................................................................................
Pacman has nothing to do with team Khan
just read an Amir Khan tweet "no more alex me and freddie have agreed, he's good at what he did! The new guy freddie bought in is also very good, he only uses the best"
so it seems Amir is done with alex ariza so is pacman aswell? from the sound of the tweet it is....
i would think that since freddie brought him in that he would work with manny now as well? i could be wrong...
