It may help if you know a little history between Rick Ross and Floyd Mayweather. It's pretty well known in the hip hop community that the 2 were beefing hard last year along with Rick Ross and 50 Cent beefing. So if you're going to root for anyone, why not root for the Rival of your enemy. And black people like myself do support black fighters. However, why do I have to limit myself to only supporting blacks or americans? Can't I like and support anyone that I think is worth supporting or do I only get to support blacks? Musical performers are notoriously over rated in their ability to make bread and despite him singing about what he does he is no where near the top of the earning pool of musical acts or even rappers, losing a million wouldn't break him but he certainly would feel it. Say he makes 3 million a year after taxes, what is 125,000 nothing really but losing 1 million which is a third of what he would be making would hurt.

What Mayweather said, that black fighters don't get support from African Americans, or Americans, and then people said it's Floyd they don't support because of his antics/personality.
