fat americans, everyone has seen it being such a problem but america is the fattest and smelliest nation in the world, is fatness the reason due to the decline in fighters and the increase in sissies?
mcdonalds and kfc have ruined america
I gotta agree with you to a certain extent...most countries put big food corporations in there place...the US doesn't...we got a lot of fat people in our country...but I think it has more to do with most potential athletes going to different sports cause they pay better.....and you don't have to get hit in the face...especially the heavyweights...*sigh*...
I believe it is.
You grow up wanting to complete your Happy Meal toy collection and that is NOT going to be a good foundation for your nutrition.
THEN when these cheap food companies start feeding your children junk through the school meals system their foundation to become great athletes is further eroded.

so true...from the corn fed beef to the genetically engineered fish...we take something so natural and rape it for a dollar...then sell it the cheapest and cut the good **** out of the market...a damn shame...
LOL! Tell me about it! i know what u mean bro
you in Denver bro? Anytime I go anywhere, everyone is only into UFC...which I like too...but I'm a boxing dude...had to give in and get Showtime and HBO...no places show any fights...
Lol, ya same here except I don't dig on MMA. Usually I just go to the fams or just catch em on the downloads later.
hopefully I find a spot out here...dont feel like shelling out the $$$ for pac/marg
I live in a town outside of Denver, about a few hours away
surprisingly there's a lot of boxing fans out here...mostly Mexican/Chicanos, I go hit up the Mexican bars and it gets pretty crunk whenever a big fight is happening
Last time I was in Denver, I ran into a grip of boxing fans....I'm sure you just need to find the right bars
Damn, that's crazy...what town you live in?
I have yet to find a place that shows boxing...
Close fight IMO...Judah did not look good at all though...Lucas looked alright for his first step up in competition...if they would have gave it to Lucas, I wouldn't have been mad...
I noticed that too. I think it's the "World Boxing Board" which is even less relevent than standard alphabet soup belts

This sounds about right...I know it wasn't the WBA Super Champion belt(whatever that **** that means)...they totally ripped off The Ring Magazine belt...I actually feel they did that on purpose to bank on the Ring's legitimacy...or because they're based out of Panama, their flag colors...either way it doesn't mean ish...
It wasn't the WBC Diamond belt(Again, whatever the **** that means)...cause that fight didn't have anything to do with the WBC...
Either way...that belt looked like something they would sell at retailer that specializes in douche bag apparel...too flashy...looked kinda gay...but since I'm against every belt other than the Ring belts...**** them too...haha

It's the Walker: Texas Ranger belt buckle championship. The most prestigious of belts.
hahahaha...best answer yet...he beat Chuck Norris for it...
We've seen a few dodgy Malignaggi scorecards too.
It seems all his fighters eek out reeeeally close questionable decisions.....unless they KO'd.....haha
no its not hating but most people i know if put in the position would be called dirtbags including me.so hey..plus isnt he italian?????not stereo typing just keeping it real
haha...never thought of it that way...good point...I'm half Italian...I can smell a wop a mile a way...
true man, he let the fighters take centre stage and because of that we had such a good fight.
i think there is an art to inside fighting and closing the distance and getting your shots off but some fighters push their luck and should be penalised.
I agree...wouldnt have been the same if the ref didnt enforce that....kudos to the ref....
I had Collazo winning by one round
Rallying in the last round doesnt win you a fight..
Collazo had to many rounds in the bank..
It wasnt a robbery, but a wrong decision
i agree...i just dont see how berto could have won....too many rounds in the bank for callazo....
Eubank had some legendary entrances' his swagger was just obscene.
Also, anyone got a youtube link to the magic carpet entrance as I can't find it...
for real...i cant find it either...come on people...i wanna see the carpet entrance...help us out...
I think MMA is good for boxing...boxing needed something nipping at their heels, some sort of direct competition...I was a bit skeptical of MMA at first, but now as I watch more and more of it....I'm a big fan...it will never be bigger than boxing though...the simple mechanics of two guys ONLY punching each other will always be too universal for MMA to overcome...just like soccer is compared to every other sport from a world wide aspect...a ball and your feet will always be more popular than every other sport....
I used to like it back in the day when you'd have like a 500 pounds sumo vs a 160 pound kick boxer and crazy shit like that. It was truly a "mixed martial arts."
Now everyone trains to be the same type of fighter - ok striking skills with good ground work, etc.
It just lost its luster to me and most of the time i find the fights too boring or too quick.
just my opinion.
you might like some of old Pride events...they would have open weight tournaments...big dudes fighting small dudes...
damn...I havent seen some of these naz entrances...dope
best: spinks vs judah II...mayweather vs gatti...
worst: mayweather vs baldomir...any malignaggi entrance...roy jones rapping...
i agree with some of that....but people sleep too much of paulie skills....yea he might not crack a egg....but he has a lot of ring intelligence and is very good ring technician....and has tons of heart and chin made of rocks....and hatton beat him....watch paulie's cotto fight....you will gain tons of respect for paulie malginaggi
I saw that fight...I'm not saying Paulie isn't tough...I just think Bradley is better...he has more in arsenal...I don't think Paulie could ever beat a P4P caliber fighter...I think Bradley either could...if not now, definitely in the near future...
and where did you get this info from? Mayweather hits alot harder then he is given credit for.
hatton would murder bradley, could you imagine if hatton got knocked down twice in a fight? everyone would be calling him shit and chinny, yet bradley wins and he's all of a sudden top 10 p4p.
he beat holt, he is not a top name. bradley hasn't beaten a top name yet ffs and he got knocked down twice by a light puncher, hatton would destroy him.
I'm not saying Bradley is a sure shot over Hatton...but I dont think you can say Hatton would murder Bradley...I dont mean to take credit from Hatton...but I always thought there was some favorable officiating for him in fights against Kostya, Lazcano and Urango...fights against quick fighters like Floyd and Callazo he didnt get that...and he got smashed on...so, I dont think its a long shot to say Bradley would whoop on Hatton...I would like to see that fight...
I would like to see how Hatton does against Manny first...but if the fight did happen, I would give Bradley a good chance...I havent been impressed with Hatton as of late...I think Bradley would be a step up from Malignaggi and Lazcano...
Cotto at 140 was never solid in the chin. That was a tremendous shot that had me and my wife looking like Craig and Smokey saying, "DAAAAMMM".
For him to get up, realize he was dazed and take a knee to compose himself, was incredibly impressive for someone who had never been knocked down before.
Cottos chin at 140 was garbage...glad he holds up better at 147...
I agree, Bradley impressed me tonight...I'd like to see him against Hatton...
Tres Puntos por vida...haha
im a williams fan...i like that he wants the big fights...i dont like that because he wants the big fights people think everyone is ducking him...and dan goosen is a douche bag when it comes to paul...
I don't think so. No one at Welterweight has fought more Top WWs than him in the last 2 years+.
i agree...no one has fought as many top 147 pounders...i think he'll catch williams in a rematch too...
lol, I just brought this up the other day.
My concern is this,
why was the ref not focused on the fallen Bute who was obviously in pretty bad shape? The ref was more concerned with Andrade and it led to a very fishy situation. He seemed to be looking at both fighters through peripheral vision just waiting for any opportunity to snap at Andrade.
for real...I also noticed right before Andrade knocked him down...the ref kind of hesitated to get out of Andrades way...kind of reminds of me what would of happened if the Taylor vs Chavez fight would have gone to Meldrick...the ref def looked shady though...
Yea Bute went down with only a couple of sceonds left in the fight and got back up at the count of 7 or 8. I don't know what all the big fuss was cause all Bute had to do was get up, And that he did. Give props to Andrade cause he took a beating and was still coming forward. Bute won fair and square.
I think the refs action opened up the controversy talks...Bute looked done...but he did get up...so...cant argue it much...
