I think Gotti will win but either way it should be a very good fight. Gotti needs this fight and he always comes ready to fight. It will be a long night for Leija. When its over no matter what happens Leija is gonna know he was in a fight.
Unfortantly I think he will fight again but it will be for the money and not because he wants to. I don't think he can win another fight if he is just doing it for the money.
When he wins this fight eveyone who thinks he can't box might think a little different. He nees this fight to quite some people up about him not fighting anyone worth a crap.
Roy Jones is a good commentator. He breaks the fight down very well. Larry needs to go. I think the only reason HBO has him is to kill time. And lord knows he can do that.
If he did come back and he did have a couple of wam up fights he would be 41 before fighting VK. I don't think it would be a good idea for him to do that. Maybe he won by the rules but he was losing everywhere by the numbers. Also if you look at both of them at the end of that Lewis was out of gas and couldn't have went any further. Anyway you look at it he would be to old by the time he got back in the ring with him.
The roosters used for the sport would kill each other if they got loose, it is what they do, it's not that you have to train them - they do it on their own any damn way! It's called nature, now - on the other hand - getting pit bulls to fight is cruel, slow, and torturous to the animals, however, the cockfights are fast, and are usually over with one stick from the attached footwear on the roosters.
For the SPCA or PETA or whoever to say that Jones should be fired for doing something that is legal is absolute bullcrap, they have nothing to do with boxing, or HBO or announcing a boxing match - I'll tell you what is cruel though - "donkey shows" in Mexico - now that's cruel, I mean damn, have you seen how ugly those girls are that the poor donkey has to fuck everyday! John ARuiz is a boring and dirty fighter.
The reason is that ruiz fans see what they want to see.
I hope I cleared up what non-ruiz fans are seeing. If you ask me i think it is suspicious that other refs aloow john ruiz to continue to break the rules.
I personally take no offense what-so-ever. John Ruiz is fighting in an era where there are 2nd tier fighters anyway. Its not that the others are taking offense to the "principles of reasoning", its more the fact that ruiz fans are blinded by the love of thier fighter. They do not see the whole picture. Therefore the "principles of reasoning" which Ruiz fans base thier OPINIONS on have no ground to stand on.
