Both guys are obviously washed up but a match between the two could make for some exciting times. I think that once Holyfield survived the early Tyson barrage he would ko Tyson....can you imagine Evander winning a fight by ko at this stage in his career?
Anyways I would definately pay too watch these to dudes in the ring, what about you? The one problem I see with it is that all the networks who never talk about boxing would portray it as a serious fight. although all fights are serious I would be afraid that the genral public would view this fight as..."thats all the sport has to offer" which would do a disservice, if it was promoted as a swan song fight to the public hopefully they would get it that neither guy would be challenging for the title any time soon.
Would you shell out $45 for this one?
i would pay although it's hard to pick a winner. Holyfield could KO mike in about rd 6 unless he is hurt like he has been in his past fights. in which case he would not be able to slip tysons punches which would end up in a 4rd ko for mike.
Would you pay to see Tyson v. Holyfield 3

Would you shell out $45 for this one?I wouldn't pay to see this fight, but I woudl love to see it. I thought Tyson was gaining the upperhand before he bit Holyfield, that sh*t pissed me off, because I know that Tyson possessed the skills to take Holyfield out, but he didn't twice and I still feel incomplete from it...I would love to see holyfield and tyson fight right now. I think by them both being washed up it might be half ass entertaining.
...I wouldn't even watch it on free T.V.
Are you sure you are being 100% honest...I bet you watch Michael Moorer on thursday...you can make a case that he is more shot than Tyson....but you will still watch...right?
Don't think so. Tyson would still be having nightmares.
I'm sure Evander would improve greatly if the fight did take place - he's a shot fighter but would find something for Mike
I agree, I think Evander would probably look great against Tyson, if I was Holyfield that would be the one fight that I would be looking for, but as Evander likes to say his goal is to become undisputed heavyweight champ of the world.
I am surprised at how many people (almost everyone) would boycott this fight. It is probably the right thing to do but these two are all time great characters and it would still be fun too watch...I would have bought Foreman v. Holmes if it happened, and although meaningless I would certainly watch Tyson v. Holyfield.
Not a cent!!!
Both are washed up!
As predicted earlier...Tyson is on the skids and heading for disaster in his personal life. Not that he ever rated ever having a personal life. A thug, who was lucky enough to have been afforded a career in the ring, but who abused the privelige! I doubt there will be tears at his funeral!
How can you diss tyson like that. Nothing was ever handed to tyson and it wasn't luck that brought him a successful boxing career. Tyson earned every penny he got from hard work and dedication in the gym. And furthermore, tyson will go down as one of the heavyweight greats behind the likes of Ali, J.Johnson,
Louis,Dempsey,Marciano. Show some dam respect!
Yes, an early Tyson knockout would be very refreshing.
And prove absolutely nothing as he beat a guy that looked by all accounts terrible in his last fight.

Well as I'm in the Uk I think I'd catch the re-run on sky sports. Tyson wouldn't take this fight he was told that Holyfield was washed up the first time around and his life has been down hill since that point. The fight shouldn't happen and now I'd probably be a little worried about Holy but you never know if he lasted past four rounds Mike would probably drop from exhaustion.

Yes. I have serious doubts it would happen though. Holyfield has beaten tyson twice and the prospect of him fighting tyson again and losing would be a huge professional and personal loss for him. In otherwords, holyfield has everthing to lose and not much to gain if he wins. For tyson, how many more loses can he afford?
The best thing for tyson right now is to knock out a couple of bums in europe and then rematch D.Williams.
I never liked Holyfield. A guy who professes to be a man of God, yet he can't be faithful to a wife and has like 10 kids? I would pay to see him fed to Tyson.
I would watch it but to shell out top dollar, no, I would watch the replay or something. That goes for anybody that evander fights. I would pay to watch paint dry before I would pay for this hogwash. They are both washed up assclowns.
