Golata may be the best skilled fighter in the heavy weights now but thats because everyone else just sucks. He has to have one of the worst chins in the sport I have seen in a long time and how he keeps getting on big cards is beyond me WTF did you bring up a Thread from October of LAST YEAR???

Uh. You' dont get it do you? Czyz got murdered. That's not debatable. Czyz quit. That's not debatable. But the fact was, Holyfield hit him with everything and couldn't drop him. Corrie Sanders KO'd Czyz with one punch in one round. Therefore, logic dictated holyfield wasn't able to hurt Tyson enough to keep Tyson off of him. I was at Tyson Holyfield I. I doubt you were actually actively wtching boxing then. The Czyz fight was not one of Evander's finer moments. He never put a Czyz on the canvas and Czyz had been on the canvas before vs. lesser fighters at much lighter weight classes. You clearly don't understand the CONTEXT of Holyfield's performance at that time. In boxing, a win isn't a win. It's how you win. Czyz doesn't make it past one round with Tyson, Sanders, Bowe, Lewis, Moorer or any of the top heavies at that time. Everything about the TOS fight comes back to Shufford. The Shufford fight should really be mandatory viewing for everyone who thinks that Wlad looked like crap against TOS. One thing about Golota is he does have a great chin!!! Sure he has been knocked down, but those were by some huge shots!!! The punches he took would have put most heavies to sleep!!! Did anyone see his fight with Tyson??? That shot he took in the first round was the same exact shot that put Botha in la la land, and he got right up!!! Golota almost didn't even go down from it!!! It even took Lewis who is one of the hardest punchers ever about 5 cosecutive straight rights to knock him down, and he got right up!!! Against grant was a different story!!! Golota barely got hit and was wobbled before a barrage of punches put him down!!! He looked as if he didn't want to be there and just quit!!! I thought this discussion about Lewis vs Golota was answered awhile back. Golota was given a painkiller shot that night before the fight and he passed out twice because the Dr. shot him up in the in the wrong area. Golota was on cloud 15 when he entered the ring and then he settled a lawsuit outside the court with that Dr. Regardless, the Wlad of today stands no chance of defeating Golota. The Wlad that fought Ray Mercer, that is an entirely different story.
