You need to understand that Floyd has simply stated that Margarito has NEVER beaten anyone worth discussing and that when he does, Floyd will be more than happy to accomodate him with a fight. Basically what it boils down to is that Margarito got his name by calling Floyd out, not by beating quality opponents. When Margarito proves himself in the ring (like Baldy) he will get his fight with Floyd. Don't forget Margarito won a vacant belt and has defended against nobodies. Floyd has said when they do fight (after Margarito earns it) then the fight will be much bigger and more valuable. It doesn't matter if Margie has a title or not, he is not going to increase PBF's legacy or his wallet more than another fighter. PBF is earning just as much $ and will be beating the undisputed WW champ. Beating an unproven champ for a WBO belt vs. Beating the undisputed champ and getting the WBC belt? No brainer.

You named a few guys earlier (DLH and Mosley) that Floyd has been trying to fight for a few years now. Both have pursued other fights instead which is understandable since they were such big names already. Now that Floyd is considered the #1 P4P they are basically forced to fight him. If its going to take Floyd beating those guys to make you believe he is one of the greatest then you may just be in luck. By this time next year he will have fought both (most likely).

Not true at all. Greb and Robinson were head and shoulders over what Mayweather could possibly accomplish. Fighters don't fight enough today to hope to best those records. Let's have Mayweather fight 200 times and see what his win/loss/draw record looks like after that. Then we can compare him to Robinson, Harry Greb, Benny Leonard, etc. Hell, let him fight at least 60 times for a start. It will never happen.
Its hard to determine because the fight game has changed so much. Yes, they used to fight every few weeks, but is that really a good thing? A lot of the guys they were fighting weren't the best fighters. Its a lot like today's fighters getting wins/losses for sparring. And how can you really judge the talent of someone 50 years ago? For all we know, Robinson could've been a club fighter in today's world or Vice Versa with PBF. All you can really say is that PBF is the most talented fighter today and on the same level as Sugar Ray Leonard. There is no way to compare todays fighters with guys who had completely different circumstances.

I loved the fact that he came into the fight in great shape and kept busy. I don't think he has enough power at this point to compete for a title, but if he progresses he could be good. If you're a young fighter trying to earn some respect, that is how you do it. Great exposure for him.
I don't see why people bring up the Castillo fight as proof that PBF could be beat with a style like Castillo's. The first fight was close. The second fight, Floyd came into the fight much better prepared on how to handle that style and won without question. Every fighter with a pressure-style since then has been easy for Floyd. Hatton is not stupid, he doesn't want to fight Floyd because he knows he has little to no chance. Floyd has an advantage in EVERY aspect of the fight.
Whether you think he won all three or lost all three you have to give him respect for having close fights with guys that are cosidered 2 of the best in the world. He's shown that he belongs with Hopkins and Winky and IMO will only get better in his next few fights. I see him beating Winky more decisivly when they fight again.
He throws an occasional hard jab, an occasional overhand right both of which are very slow for a Welterweight. Everything else is basically wide hooks. At times he'll get creative and throw a looping uppercut which I haven't seen land yet. He looks very ugly in the center of the ring and basically walks his opponents down into the ropes and bombs them with hooks. He has little defense (being generous) and very limited boxing skills. His only strength is his strength. I'm not even going to say how he'd do against Mayweather because I'm an obvious PBF fan, but many others that don't like Floyd agree with me. You can go to youtube.com and search for Margarito and you'll get some clips of him fighting.
