Mayweather vs Margarito at 147

It's a lame excuse because he already trashed the goddam guy before he refused the fight, don't you see that? As as said thing just goes in circle. If you're a true boxing fan it's not going to be hard to understand that a belt holder like Margarito doesn't have to prove himself to fight other famed fighters, especially with the fact the he has his belt longer than PBFs or Baldomir. Now whose ridiculous? You need to understand that Floyd has simply stated that Margarito has NEVER beaten anyone worth discussing and that when he does, Floyd will be more than happy to accomodate him with a fight. Basically what it boils down to is that Margarito got his name by calling Floyd out, not by beating quality opponents. When Margarito proves himself in the ring (like Baldy) he will get his fight with Floyd. Don't forget Margarito won a vacant belt and has defended against nobodies. Floyd has said when they do fight (after Margarito earns it) then the fight will be much bigger and more valuable. It doesn't matter if Margie has a title or not, he is not going to increase PBF's legacy or his wallet more than another fighter. PBF is earning just as much $ and will be beating the undisputed WW champ. Beating an unproven champ for a WBO belt vs. Beating the undisputed champ and getting the WBC belt? No brainer.

Margarito should fight either Cotto or Williams before fighting Floyd. With a recognized name on his resume, he has a better chance of actually landing a fight with Floyd.

i think margarito looses this fight due to pbf's boxing skills and speed maragarito does have more power but against pbf is useless unless you have speed ...as far as castillo goes i don't think he can beat pbf now in their 1st fight i think castillo surprised pbf and i also feel like many that castillo won that fight but in the re-match pbf had a more decisive win if their were to fight a 3rd. time it would be a more lobsided win for pbf because he allready knows how to fight castillo ...the only person i can see beating floyd right now is zab this is just because zab has good boxing skills and has alot of speed i think he is a bit slower than floyd but pbf has not faced someone with zab's speed this would give him trouble .

This fight if it happens will go to Floyd. Margarito will not look as bad as Gatti and will be willing to put up a fight. Lets not count out that he does def. have a punchers chance. I dont mind this fight just to see what happens.Another win for the slick Mayweather.

I still think to succeed against Mayweather you have to apply constant, intelligent pressure, like Castillo did. I think Hatton probably has the best shot at 140, but if the Hatton team insists on Manchester as the venue, and I'm sure they will, I doubt that fight will happen. I think Margarito would have the best shot at 147 for the same reasons -- he would apply constant, intelligent pressure.

Margarito is a good fighter with rang...but he is just too slow...his arms are long and his punches come slower...he is patient but just too slow...I kind of think it would be a repeat of Floyd/Castillo II...maybe not as one sided as Floyd/Gatti...but Floyd would win convincingly... size almost has nothing to do with it when it comes to Floyd i still think that castillo has unfinished business with mayweather, and he is probably the only fighter to push him hard and even beat him (in most people's mind for the first fight)........ i don't know why gatti tried to box mayweather in the center of the ring...he didn't push him at all.
