shows how sad sum ppl realy are! coming from the person who cant speak in english without talking in slang, I mean it's one thing if you have to speak like that outside of the scene which is sad by itself but when you have to incorporate it into your computer talk as well your the one thats sad. a padded record, gift decisions, questionable victories, and for some1 whos supposed to be "the undisputed middleweight champion of the world" hes still too crude. if taylor's at his peak right now, he really sux.

he's coming along nicely. i think that they are bringing him up right and i'm glad he's getting fights that are decent match ups. i do feel that he does get favortism being the HBO bread and butter, but other than that he's progressing nicely. and i'm a huge critic when it comes to taylor, but as a whole, taylor and his team i think are doing the right and necessary stuff to create a solid career. it's not like he's still being fed soft opposition anymore.

In one word uninspiring 2 disputed wins over bernard hopkins and a disputed draw with winky wright but still very very uninspiring.

Hopkins just slowly evolved his dirty rough defensive style into a game that was very tough to beat- it didn't make him a dominant or an all-time great fighter in my opinion,. Bernard Hopkins not an all time great and not a dominant fighter? :confused:

I hope Taylor's future sucess will erase this criticism from the B-Hop fights and Winky fight. Nobody was robbed in any of those fights. A close fight and they gave it to Taylor isn't a robbery. Its not like Winky won the first 8 or 9 and Jermaine won the last 3 or 4.

It doesn't matter anyway because he is not the true champ. Bernard Hopkins is the true uncrowned champion lol how do you figure?

well sorry I had wright up 2 rounds but I guess 2 rounds isnt clearly enough so you had it 115-113 and you thought Wright clearly won? do you realize if you change one, just ONE, of those rounds to a Taylor round, you have a draw? do you realize how stupid you sound yet or should I keep going?

Winky did beat him clearly and I agree he is not a true champion. He got the belts by robbery.

He's an over rated fighter that has been immortalized by the boxing public since his first fight. He was carried into stardom before he even made a name for himself in the sport of boxing, he is HBO's golden child/the future for HBO boxing (if you dont believe me just listen to the commentary during his fights), He has talent but doesnt use his head in the ring so he doesnt live up to his potential(he could be special but needs alot more experience and I mean alot). He never really fought a named fighter till he fought Joppy but Joppy was all done after he had be demolished by Trinidad and still isnt the same. So Taylor gets a shot at the title after beating pretty much a chump with a cheap record of 16-0-2 that was an unknown. He has fought two big names in his career, Bernard Hopkins twice in which both victories came from very controversial decisions, both fights Hopkins landed more punches and threw less, both fights there was almost a 10% difference in connect ratio between the 2 fighters resulting in 2 gift decisions for Taylor. This is where I began to see just how much he was carried due to the big talks about how Hopkins was old and how boxing needed a new champion, that Taylor was the next big thing, noone liked Hopkins because he was in charge of his career and basically the whole politics in boxing really showed at this point. Next he goes and fights Winky Wright another unorthodox fighter that has pretty much been in charge of his career and had never really gotten a name for himself due to his style, so they fight Wright clearly beats the double pumping, juking all the time, jittery fighting Taylor through 12 rounds and once again Taylor is given a gift decision (draw which should have been a win for Wright). Now after all this you can begin to see just how much he is being carried, I mean do you really expect HBO and Dibella to lose money on him after investing so much to make him a household name if he keeps losing? So what do they do? They set it up so somehow every fight is close enough so it can go either way regardless of how one sided it was for the other man and Taylor, HBO and Dibella make out. Now after 3 wasted hours that proved nothing and a waste of 150 dollars we still have to watch this over rated fighter get some more gift decisions and hopefully one day mature into a real fighter that can use his brain a little to show the talent he does have. are you joking?
