mayweathers has a longer reach and quicker hands, he stood back and sniped away at a seemingly plodding marquez and marquez kknows ha'll have a hard time catching him with his relatively slower hands as mayweather doesn't put himself in the position to get caught the way marquez caught pacquiao

i think canelo needs more experience before taking on floyd, why rush it? the kids only 21. let him grow as a fighter, train and get better and maybe by the time hes 24-25 make it happen. Floyd probably wont be p4p then tho...
I think Canelo gets the KO/TKO, he has faster hands and if you stand in front of him too long he'll get in his power punches. Fast hands are key to beating canelo and cotto's speed is just not up there. I believe Canelo would also have the reach advantage, combined with his speed advantage I dont think he'll have much trouble catching the slower plodding cotto but you never know, cotto's a great puncher and has his timing down to make up for his speed.
you did good, alot better than when i first sparred. I noticed you dropped ur hand after you jabbed a quicker boxer will take advantage of that, dont lift you feet off the floor when u puch you get out of balance and a lesser puch that normally wouldnt drop you will, try cutting off the ring from your man instead of chasing him around aimlessly like you did in the first round. You wont get tired as quick, not sure if you like to stalk your man or move along with him but good to know anyways. You did darn good for your first time im sure you'll be good
I agree it was closer than what the judges had it, Trouts a good boxer. I dont know what that idiot who scored it 118-109 was basing his judgement on..
Chavez Jr is a C+/B- level fighter at the most in my opinion, Vanes slapped him silly in their sparring session. as for Alvarez, i like him more you have to give him credit for what hes accomplished so far at such a young age and he looked like he had decet speed and good power against Rhodes. Hes a B+ fighter as of right now in my book
the reason he has no losses is because he doesnt go out and fight, he goes out and boxes. he doesnt leave himself open or chases his oppenents like manny and other guys do he just moves around and picks his shots
and where was margaritos power vs shane mosley?
williams looked bad against Lara and i think Mayweather >> Lara in terms of counter punching, Williams height would be a factor tho
you really think margarito would beat him? He's slow, his punches are wide, and doesnt have the best defense. Put him in the ring with Floyd and Floyd would box his ears off. I agree he doesnt fight the best and hese and arrogant whatever you wanna callem but he is a darn good boxer
i dont know, i guess both sides werent interested in it enough to make it happen. DLH probably didnt love boxing as much anymore and floyd was probably scared to lose his undefeated record. just my opinion tho
After a while you'll get used to it, manny said he pretends he didnt get hit i guess its kinda like a mental thing to help shrug it off, but remember to move ur head and always cover up
kellerman use to be on espn with brian kenny on FNF and host another show called 'around the horn' on espn as well.
i think both jim and larry have backgrounds in sports journalism or broadcasting, so commentating any sports event would be good, plus theyve been around boxing for a longgg time, so it fits...
the only physical thing ive seen larry do is this.
^LOLL!!! whose the boxer being interviewed he looks like he's in his sixties!!
To everyone involved in the "Purto Rico-Mexico war" : GROW THE F*** UP!! be a man and learn how to respect only little b****s go around making these stupid racist remarks, if u got so much balls go do it in person. Both countries have some of the best boxers simple as that. Man I hope I live to seethe day when all Latinos see themselves as brothers instead of acting like idiots and bashing each other. LA UNION HACE LA FUERZA!! Latinos Unidos!!
midget? Floyd is probably only 2-3 inches taller than manny... Over rated? Doubt it. This guy fought Morales, Barrera, Juan Manuel Marquez, Margarito, Ricky Hatton, Clottey, Cotto, De La Hoya and won them all except that one loss to Morales, cant tell me thats not some of the best opposition...
I dont think he is on anything but i dunno, it wouldnt suprise me if he was, as for his opponents, maybe they do make him look a little better i mean margarito is pretty slow..
yeah he is a ****y dude, hopefully that'll teach him a lesson, he was trying reAl hard to mean mug and staredown while the referee was giving the rules
, Carcamo was just like whatever lol.
LOL revishes hair had me LAUGHING for a good while!! i thought maldonado looked good up until this fight, Carcamo looked too strong, maldonado looked scrawny
^liking the Tim Duncan pic, you from San Antonio JonoYoungP4P?
man i swear ima be so disapointed if this fight happens.. wtf did mayorga do to deserve a shot at Pacquiao??
I went, Pavlik looked retty sharp but i dont know if it was just his opponent was making him look good. James Kirkland was there in attendance I didnt get to take a pic with him because I didnt have floor tickets I saw him tho lol
who the f is that light skinned black guy that looks a little like winky wright that was standing behind keith thurman? i see him in alot of fights....
Sure Canelo is best when his opponent is coming at him but I dont think he's too bad against more mobile opponents I mean he already fought Floyd, it doesnt get any more slippery than Floyd.... Canelo would smother Cotto IMO, I dare say Angulo is more of a threat than Cotto but Lara's good counter punching and handspeed would present the greatest threat out of all three. Another fight I'd like to see is Canelo vs Kirkland
