So any ideas on worst fight of the year so far?
The obvious one would be KLitschko Pianeta, since Pianeta didn't appear to know how to box, and Wlad was happy to jab slowly at him till he gassed out. However its become an accepted norm for the K2 bros to defend against unranked opponents so that kind of dilutes how bad it was. You pretty much knew it would be terrible.
Bellow Chilemba 1 was also a bad fight given the extraordinary buildup.
lol there were plenty of horrible Friday night fights and stuff in the beginning of the year i think, but if we mean more relevant names then I would say Floyd vs Guerrero as Guerrero was sent from god to humble him by making Floyd look better than before
Rigo/Donaire
No question about it.
Please, no rematch! Please!
Only If you are a Donaire Nutthug or if...

Mayweather vs Guerrero was utter garbage.
I think the biggest disappointment has been SHo-Box..
It use to be my favorite boxing show, but the prospects have been really weak this year..
I remember the days when it had Paul williams or lacy or Bradley, K9 vs Powell...
Just not digging it this year...
i agree. most of the guys they have on sho-box these days, i don't really see them going anywhere.
yah most of the best fights this year have been with HBO....i guess showtime hoping to do big numbers with mayweather vs canelo
I think you are getting confused with Showtime championship boxing and Sho-box.
Sho-box is a program designed for young prospects that never had tv exposure before, it use to be awesome, but past year has had horrible prospects and not alot of good fights. I have been like Espn fights better these days. Kinda like Boxing after dark and HBO boxing are two different programs.
Showtime boxing is the program with all the golden boy fights and they have had some good ones, and hbo as well...

For me it was Bradley vs Provodnikov. Two neanderthals beating each other silly. I learned nothing from that fight.
The best fight was Donaire vs Rigondeaux. The 2nd best has to be Mayweather vs Guerrero. I learned a lot about all 4 fighters in those 2 match ups.
Mayweather vs Guerrero or Alexander vs Purdy... Altho what happened in the crowd with the fanbases was funny as hell. Definitely more entertaining.
