for years and years I always laughed off casual sport fans saying boxing is dead UFC has taken over blah blah blah you know the drill. But I always relied on the best fighting the best producing a buzz and good numbers. I must admit for the first time I am concerned with firstly Crawford/postol, ward/kovalev , and now ggg/ Jacobs not producing **** and they were #1 vs #2 match ups. Do you guys like me deep down believe canelo /chaves jr MUST MUST MUST do good numbers while rousey is finished and McGregor is out for the year?? AND has to be a good fight of course!! Please don't stink it out fellas!

in a way dont you think that smashing out Khan so brutally makes Canelo seem like a bully beating on smaller dudes. Ive been a huge fan of Canelo since i first saw him slug it out with Cotto on the Floyd vs Shane undercard in 2010, but i think the momentum with this whole weight debate with Golovkin goes towards Golovkin now. Apart from nacho.... I think that the traditional come forward tough as nails take a lot of punishment Mexican trainers are limited at the highest level. They can get there man in tip top shape and get them to hit the heavy bag nice and hard but when it comes to the strategic doctrine and game plan side they are limited. i dont know about anyone else but i really enjoyed tysons special comments for the ward fight. the dynamic of kellerman, rjj, lampley and mike was really interesting to watch. im a little tired of mikes seemingly endless circus tour to grab a buck being on what it seems every talk show, starting new spin offs monthly im crazy blah blah im on drugs blah blah. but hearing tyson talk boxing is what he actually does best not being "crazy mike." hope to see him appear on a hbo card again.

What I can't understand is how badly hbo have made a train wreck of their intro theme. Just horrible. A truck driving around with dub step music? It's actually embarrassing to boxing, The one they had before that was awesome with the 24 7 style tune crunching away and the start has ray getting his hands wrapped. A really well put together intro that would attract new fans and hype up the loyalists. Showtime championship boxing one is brilliant. And the UFC has always done a good job with their ones, why can't hbo who are supposed to be number 1 and be on the frontline for boxing get it right.

dont know bout anyone else but im starting to get a little sick of brandolinas crying about "everyone counting me out man" most people like programs such as hbos face off and are interested in watching weigh ins and face to faces so we can try and get some insight into the mental side of the fighters. so i reckon a little bit of amatuer psychology suggests that brandons actually counting HIMSELF out. his confidence is rock bottom and it shows. a truly confident person in there abilities wouldnt care what other people say.

how did you rate steves performance? i thought he had no control of the fight what so ever, the rough stuff and hitting on the break was his fault for not getting in there and breaking them. he let them punch after the bell in basically every round, he basically assaulted murat continuously by pushing his face, and when b hop shook up murat and murat turned his back and hop started landing shots un returned from behind he should have stopped the fight. shades of angulo turning his back on lara. fight is over if you turn around and walk in the other direction. fin
