in a way dont you think that smashing out Khan so brutally makes Canelo seem like a bully beating on smaller dudes. Ive been a huge fan of Canelo since i first saw him slug it out with Cotto on the Floyd vs Shane undercard in 2010, but i think the momentum with this whole weight debate with Golovkin goes towards Golovkin now. Like Virgil said Khan set the tone. Fight someone your own size!!!!
Yup. Bully overrated cherrypicker against chinny smaller fighter who he was losing rounds to.
This is the kind of Garcia-Salka cherrypicker bullsh*t boxing should be trying to avoid in the first place. Canelo is an embarrassment for even considering this fight, much less taking it.
I would love to say that Canelo would get his just desserts after fighting Golovkin but I don't he'll take the fight. Fighting someone in his own weightclass isn't something ball-less fighters do.
Yeah, Canelo won't be fighting Golovkin anytime soon. Golden Boy will avoid that fight at all costs. They want to keep the cash cow alive.
He didn't lose any. He had already lost it when the fight got announced. Canelo is a pretty one dimensional fighter. The fact that he's the face of boxing after the Mayweather/Pacquiao era is laughable since he's about 6 levels below both of them fighters. Everybody knew this would happen. Canelo is straight up ducking Golovkin and it's really shameful. There's good reason too, because I simply can't see Canelo giving Golovkin any trouble whatsoever.
should there be a permanenet hip hop/boxing style thread? Cuz as far as im concerned hip hop culture and boxing are as tightly connected as the NBA and hip hop culture. Leave the classless metal screaming bull**** for the UFC white boy rednecks and there eye-brow piercings...
Classless metal requires more talent than most of the nursery rhyming, atonal, big mouth sh1t talking, juvenile crap that they call Rap. There's plenty of sh1tty metal music but even most of those guys can play a musical instrument and they actually have to know how to sing as opposed to talking their way through kindergarten level musicianship. But yeah, lots of metal is sh1t too, because of the screaming and lack of songwriting skill. I'd rather hear good hard rock music or metal music at a boxing event any day. You seem to have a problem with "white boy" music.
:peeright::bottle:
Canelo's credibility took a big hit when he decided to fight a questionable Junior Welterweight/ welterweight fighter who had been Ko'd a few times already and who wasn't regarded as the very top of those divisions. His credibility would have taken a bigger hit if he won a decision against Khan. If Breidis Prescott and Danny Garcia could knock out Khan , then you've got to expect a strong Middleweight like Canelo is going to have a dominating performance and a fairly early KO. The fact that Khan won a few of the early rounds so clearly is what is detrimental to his credibility.....and the fact that he even signed to fight Khan in the first place.
I guess that's what makes it so great though. . . Which Raekwon album? Cuban Lynx was hot. Anyway haha we're going off topic now.
Yea cuban linx...which is arguably a better album, but i just perfer gza's lyricism. The beats definitely weren't for everyone.
Only got love from the real heads tho...i seem to remember method man, odb, and raekwons albums getting more attention.

Cuban Linx - My favorite album of all time
Liquid Swords
Ironman - Ghostface
36 Chambers
As far as Canelo, him taking this fight and talking chit afterwards is a complete joke. Khan was KO'd at 135, 140 and dropped several times at 147. Canelo says he wants to fight GGG but we all know he wants him to come down in weight which will be another chic move.
Iron man gets slept on too...the faster blade is one of my favs
Underrated? Wuttt? That was one of the greatest hip hop albums ever recorded

actually i totally forgot about that pathetic "no fear. we dont **** around" interview which made it worse!! because actually you are fearful and you DO **** around with 5 goddamn pounds *****.
best wu album...top 3 goes...

I think it does. He will not be given any credit if he fights another welterweight right after. So this knockout puts more pressure on him to fight someone his size, like GGG.
