Many people sweat his chin and probably rightfully so but he hasnt a 100% proved it to me yet. He just fought 2 of the biggest punchers in the game in Cotto & Cintron and walked through there shots like it was nothing "but" there are different kinds of punches. 9 times out of 10 a punch is not as hard when your going backwards or even just planted at times. Cotto & Cintron are huge punchers but they are both guys who have came forward in a 100% of there fights. There mostly fighting guys who are running or circling and then you can deliver the full blow. Its like your digging into them. When your going backwards like Margarito has made them then its not the same power. He's kind of punking them and taking some of the power out of there shots.
My point is that the only way you will ever be able to know if he has a dynamite chin is if there's a guy who is ever able to make him go back or who can atleast fight most of the fight without retreating at all. The guys at WW who could somewhat do this in the past were maybe a Mosley & Oscar but definatly guys like Forrest, Mayorga, Tito, and Quartay. If Margarito were ever able to fight them in there prime at WW then you could really judge his chin because he would definatly get there full power since I dont think he could make those guys go backwards all fight. Guys like them with there speed & power would meet him head on and some of them would try to even full out attack him

Dude belive me lab test dont take three months to perform. They are holding back some information here because the use of plaster in his golves is not only bad for him but also for the whole of boxing. But can you think of any other reason to spray something that is going get wet prior to putting your gloveson? Well my reasoning behind doing something like that si because you have a substance on their that will give you and advantage when it gets wet. If you have ever had you hands wrapped up then you know the palm of you hands gets sweaty and wet long before you kncukles and the outer part of you hands do. Also the thickness of the wraps and the layers woud take sometime to get wet. Spraying it before you put you gloves on would greatly speed this process up since all that moister prior to to putting you gloves on would be trapped inside of you gloves and sealed once you tape the wrists of you gloves tight. For you to make any excuses and point out others is leading me to believe that you would approve of doing something illegal something that give you an advantage over your opponent. Whether it be a small thing like a head but or a lo0w blow or a large thing like loading your gloves up. To me you think he should only be suspended it if were found he had cement plaster or some other illegal substance? Go one step further and tape you hands over the wraps and the gauze and the plastic or rubber what ever you choose do this only to your left hand assuming you are right handed. Wrap and tape you other hand the same way minus the plastic. Put on 12 once gloves and punch the bag or better yet a piece of meatlet me know what does more damage....Lefty

A local radio station around my way reported two weeks ago when Margo was suspended..said he was suspended for PASTER OF PARIS..,,yet the result so for, is that they dont know
The substance was sent to a lab to determine exactly what it is. It will take time for them to do the lab work.
The suspension shows that they are serious about it and do believe that it was intentional and illegal.
Also consider that the California board that suspended him does not benefit in any way from doing so or has any financial interest in Margo either way.
I think that alone is enough proof of Margo and his trainer's guilt but some people will always defend Margo to the death and use quotes from Bob Arum (who has a financial interest in Margo) to back their arguments.
I am sure that even when the lab work comes back showing proof of an illegal substance, they will still bitch and moan and claim its a conspiracy.

They're not sure if it's Plaster of Paris yet and they won't know until mid-March, right now what caused Margarito's revokation and suspension was wet gauze, CSAC rules prohibit any wet substance to be put on the gauze and padding.

The Tito-Hops incident is completely different. There were never any accusations of a foreign material or anything in the wraps that did not belong there. Nazeem objected to the way in which his hands were wrapped, thats it. Nothing fell out of the wraps, nothing strange about them. It was mostly typical pre fight mind games.
For Mosley's case, I believe he never tested positive for steroids. Other fighters like Vitali (olympics), Toney ect. have had repercussions for positive steroid tests. Mosley's name was on the Balco lists, but I dont believe he tested positive on any of the boxing commission's tests, so they didnt have any authority to punish him. In summary, he cheated and got away with it.
In Margo's case, something foreign was found in his wraps in front of the commissioners and it is being examined. In this case, they have an obligation to punish Margorito who was caught cheating in front of the commisioners eyes.

I should have seen it coming. I put a lot of stock into each fighter's previous fights, which is never a good thing given the significance of styles.
Mayorga is just a tough fighter to prepare for because he is so unpredictable with where his punches come from. He is unconventional that it can be hard to look good against him.

I specifically asked you if they had found something in the cases you were mentioning and you choose to ignore the fact that something was found in Margarito's gloves. They don't tell fighters to re-wrap their hands just because the trainer of the opponent said so. Obviously the CSAC saw something and caught it, and now have to do a proper investigation.
But from the interviews I've read from Marg's camp and the news coming out from CSAC, Margarito's legacy is in jeopardy.
